We've designed this holiday to be the perfect seven-night Sri Lanka trip with the option to add on a beach stay at the end. You’ll see cultural highlights like Sigiriya Rock and the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, journey through Tea Country on a scenic train ride, and you’ll even have the chance to take an elephant safari.

Days 1-3
Sigiriya
You’ll land in the capital of Sri Lanka, Colombo, where a private chauffeur-driver will meet you and drive you northeast to Sigiriya, a four-hour journey by road. Although you’ll arrive late, you’ll be exactly where you need to be to see one of Sri Lanka’s most remarkable sights – the flat-topped summit of Sigiriya, where the ruins of an ancient civilisation lie. You might decide to take an elephant safari while you’re here, in addition to the memorable early-morning hike to Lion’s Rock that’s included.

Day 4
Kandy
Leaving Sigiriya, you’ll drive south to Kandy on a journey that’ll take around three hours. You’ll spend a night here, allowing you enough time to visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and the Royal Botanical Gardens with its exquisite collection of orchids and an impressive display of majestic trees.

Days 5 to 6
Nuwara Eliya

On arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to your accommodation. While you’re in Nuwara Eliya, it’s up to you whether you’d like to take a tour of a tea factory or simply relax and enjoy the beautiful views this area is famous for.
