Arvia is one of P&O Cruises’ newest ships. Laid-back and endlessly entertaining. The centerpiece? SkyDome: pool, show space and cinema, all under a retractable roof. There’s also gin distilled at sea and restaurant collaborations with top chefs. Family cabins come with space and there’s a reassuring ‘dress up or don’t’ dress code.
Itinerary overview
Trip notes
Before your cruise
The best way to start a cruise? A three-night warm up in your departure port with no chance of feeling rushed or jet lagged before you board. Sea Breeze Beach House by Ocean Hotels is a great choice. Family zones, a kids’ club, an adults-only pool and oceanfront dining. Soak up white beaches and Bajan magic before you board – refreshed, relaxed and already in the swing of it.

Trip notes
P&O Family Fun
High ropes, mini golf, an escape room and outdoor adventure zone mean mini bundles of energy can run wild. Water babies? There’s a splash park for little ones and the SkyDome for everyone – part swimming pool, part cinema, part entertainment venue. Tots to teens get age-zoned clubs and food’s a win too: pizza, curries, popcorn with movies. All easy kids stuff.

Trip notes
Overnight in Antigua
Two nights in port in Antigua is a star feature of your cruise. It means time to beach hop properly, see the forts, linger over catch-of-the-day, listen to the steel drums and visit Nelson’s Dockyard. 48 hours ashore also gets you a taste of Antigua’s late night beach bars: sunset cocktails, live bands, fire pits and feet in the sand –perfect if you are travelling with older teens.
