JW Marriott The Rosseau Muskoka Resort & Spa

Far-reaching lake views, cosy public areas and a wide selection of facilities and activities await at The Rosseau.

Set deep in Ontario’s ‘cottage country’, The Rosseau is a landmark hotel set on a bluff overlooking the lake of the same name. The hotel has plenty of facilities including a full service spa, an indoor-outdoor pool and three restaurants. Spa Rosseau has treatment rooms, a Vichy room for hydrotherapy treatments and a whirlpool bath where you can relax with incredible lake views. The dining options range from the all-day Cottages Restaurant to the Muskoka Chophouse and the Italian eatery, Teca. In the summer you can dine out on The Deck where there’s comfy seating around fire pits and a pizza oven.

As you might expect from a hotel in this lake-dotted region of Ontario, you’re encouraged to get out on the water here with free canoeing, kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding offered on the lake. And for a supplement, you can take one of the pontoon boat cruise around the waterfront, discovering hidden coves, islands and inlets. If you’d rather stay on dry land, there are guided walks through the resort's grounds as well as Segway tours. During the winter, there are snowshoeing excursions.
