The 59 rooms are stylish with a focus on natural materials with fine linens, rich colours and warm wood tones. En suites have a walk-in power shower and locally produced lavender toiletries. We recommend Superior Rooms with Sea View for postcard views of the water and traditional red-roofed buildings.

Order your favourite tipple from the dramatic 19-metre-long turquoise glass bar, then relax in the deep sofas to views of the ancient city, yacht harbour and bay by candlelight.
