The Tubkaak Krabi Boutique Resort

Feel the love

A small and away-from-it-all boutique resort with peaceful views of the Hong Islands.

Sink into a beanbag on the beach and watch as a dash of pink sunset illuminates dreamy island silhouettes in the distance. You can easily lose track of time on quiet Tub Kaek Beach so it’s handy that you’re only steps away from your hotel, which is hidden within the tropical trees behind you. The view of distant rocky islands across the sea is one of the resort’s highlights. Thanks to the protection from the islands, the sea is calm and swimmable almost all year round and you can be snorkelling among classic Krabi cliff-backed beaches in a 30-minute transfer to the Hong Islands.

Why we love The Tubkaak Krabi Boutique Resort

  • It’s romantic, low-key and blissfully secluded from the more popular areas, making it an excellent option for couples

  • The design is stunning, with terracotta-tiled roofs just peeping through the trees and an elegant garden dotted with Koi ponds

  • All of the rooms and suites have an oversized outdoor bathtub so you can gaze up at the starry night sky while you wallow

  • You can have a blissful therapeutic massage in one of the spa’s unique sky-scraping cocoon-shaped treatment rooms

The resort’s two restaurants are both great spots for beachside dining. Choose from classic Thai at The Arundina or tuck into the area’s best Italian food at Di Mare.

The Arundina
Taste classic Thai cuisine at The Arundina, where tables stretch down to the beach.

Di Mare
A great spot for fresh seafood in this trattoria-style Italian restaurant.

At Arundina, herbs and vegetables from the organic garden are used to create menus to reflect the cuisine of Krabi.

What's included

Breakfast at The Arundina.

For absolute relaxation, a session in one of the spectacular L'escape spa treatment rooms is a must. An hour-long Thai oil massage melts away every worry, and it’s impossible not to feel at peace when you’re protected in a cocoon-shaped room where dark wooden panels soar upwards to reveal an open skylight at the top.

Make a visit to Krabi town to visit the local temples or go trekking into the rainforest. At the resort you can take a picnic on a long-tail boat, learn the art of Thai boxing or join a lesson in Thai cuisine.
