Secrets Lanzarote Resort & Spa
This stylish adults-only resort has recently reopened as Secrets Lanzarote Resort & Spa after extensive renovation, and is a pleasant walk from one of Europe's finest marinas in Puerto Calero. You can expect light tones and sleek finishes, and an excellent range of facilities and things to do. Take a dip in four heated outdoor pools with Balinese sun loungers, try sports and activities including tennis, volleyball, padel and Tibetan bowls, and visit the diving club to explore the island's unique marine life. For the ultimate relaxation, head to the hotel's spa to enjoy an indoor pool with water jets, hydrotherapy showers and an outdoor terrace with sun loungers.
There are plenty of dining options and with the marina so close by, you can always eat out if you fancy something a little different. The main restaurant, World Café offers international buffets for breakfast and dinner, with skillful show cooking and a beautiful terrace. Tuck into classic Italian cuisine at à la carte restaurant Portofino, try grilled specialities at Oceana Seafood Restaurant and enjoy light lunches at Barefoot Grill, the hotel's pool bistro. You can also have grilled meats at the Bluewater Grill steak house by the pool, and Asian cuisine at the sushi bar, Gohan which has views over the Atlantic Ocean. Many of the restaurants offer light and vegetarian meals. Choose from six bars including La Habana, the outdoor lobby bar with sea views and a great selection of cocktails, and the Sports Bar where you can catch a game over a drink.
The rooms and suites are bright and airy, with large modern bathrooms and a terrace or balcony. Upgrade from a Double Room to a Double Room Sea View Ocean to wake up looking out over the water; push the boat out and choose one of the Preferred Club Rooms to enjoy special extras including butler service in selected areas, continental breakfast and afternoon snacks in the exclusive Preferred Club Lounge, and a private solarium and pool.
