Sina Centurion Palace

Luxury on the Grand Canal

This stunning former palazzo on the Grand Canal in Venice’s arty Dorsoduro district offers style, charm and superb views

With a prized setting on the Grand Canal across from the lively heart of historic Venice, this is the perfect choice for those seeking a spot away from the crowds, yet still within easy reach of all the city’s attractions. It is housed in a former convent that has retained its historic charm, with a striking Venetian-Gothic façade that belies its contemporary interiors and a beautiful internal garden. A member of the 'Small Luxury Hotels of the World', it’s a delightfully romantic bolthole perfect for a memorable honeymoon.

Why we love Sina Centurion Palace

  • It has a great setting overlooking the Grand Canal in Dorsoduro, just a short walk from the Peggy Guggenheim Museum

  • There’s a well-regarded restaurant with coveted tables on a canalside terrace and a bar known for its bespoke cocktails

  • No two rooms are quite the same, but they all feature a striking blend of contemporary styling and original features

There’s a restaurant and bar, and a good selection of slightly off-the-beaten-track places to eat and drink in the surrounding area.

Antinoo's Lounge & Restaurant The all-white restaurant has a menu of simple-but-chic Veneto and Italian dishes, and the option to dine outside on the canalside deck or in the scented indoor garden.

Antinoo's Bar Decorated in rich shades of red and purple, the intimate bar is an inviting spot for a pre-dinner aperitif or after-dinner drink.

If you’ve not been able to secure one of the handful of tables on the terrace beside the water, those in the beautiful courtyard garden are a very close second best.
