Day 1- 4

Welgevonden Game Reserve

After arriving in Johannesburg, you’ll have a private road transfer to the Waterberg region (approx. 3 hours). Then, you’ll be met at the reserved gate for your 4x4 safari transfer to your chosen lodge in the Welgevonden Game Reserve. Home to the Big Five and known for its dramatic landscapes of open plains and rugged cliffs, it’s one of South Africa’s best kept safari secrets.Over the next four nights, settle into your boutique safari lodge and enjoy twice-daily game drives. Days are centered around morning and afternoon game drives with experienced rangers, tracking everything from elephant and rhino to lions and elusive leopards. Between safaris, relax by the pool, take in the views from your deck and enjoy the peaceful rhythm of life in the wilderness.

Day 5

Pretoria

After your final morning game drive and breakfast, you'll leave the wild landscapes of the Waterberg behind and travel back towards Johannesburg’s. Tonight's stay is at a country estate set within expansive grounds, just outside Pretoria. Take a stroll through the grounds, relax beside the pool or indulge in a treatment at the spa before settling in for the evening. It's a comfortable pause between safari adventure and beach relaxation.

Days 6 - 11

Mauritius

Fly to Mauritius, where a completely different landscape awaits. Swap wide-open bushveld for palm-fringed beaches and calm lagoons.Spend the next five nights doing as much or as little as you like. Relax beside the ocean, enjoy watersports, explore local villages and markets, or simply soak up the laid-back island atmosphere. Mauritius provides a softer finale to your holiday, trading safari sightings and bushveld scenery for warm waters, laid-back island living and time to simply switch off. After your final breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight home.
