Set on a long swathe of white-sand beach on Lido Key, just minutes away from the sought-out St. Armands Circle, this relaxed resort features two pools, a Tiki Bar, and an eighth-floor restaurant boasting incredible ocean views.

Lido Key makes a great base for travellers that want to experience the natural beauty of Sarasota, while not being too far from the action of the city. Lido Beach, where the hotel’s based, is less crowded than the famous Siesta Key Beach, which is around half an hour’s drive away.

Drift Kitchen & Bar serves breakfast and dinner up on the eighth floor, alongside sweeping views of the Gulf of Mexico from floor-to-ceiling windows.

The nearby St. Armands Circle is a popular spot for shopping, dining and nightlife, and the resort offers a complimentary shuttle service there and back. Outdoor enthusiasts will want to check out the nearby Ted Sperling Nature Park where they’ll lay eyes on a variety of bird and marine life in stunning natural surroundings. Out on the pool deck, there’s a Tiki Bar, three hot tubs and two oceanfront pools, one of which is just for adults. Chairs are provided on the beach, and guests can play volleyball or ask the concierge to arrange watersports including diving and sailing.
