The Palace, Sun City

An African palace
Grand, elegant and palatial, this impressive hotel has been inspired by the myth of a lost African kingdom. Rising like a mirage from the green landscape, it’s a fantastic place to stay for all ages. It's home to one of Africa's greatest water parks and there’s a real emphasis on adventure, with Pilanesberg Game Reserve, Kwena Gardens (crocodile sanctuary) and a zip line nearby. The hotel has its own Olympic-size swimming pool and puts all the attractions of Sun City on your doorstep from bars and restaurants to golf courses, tennis, squash, horseriding, a man-made beach and wave pool, a watersports lake and Kamp Kwena kids’ club. Yet, if you need it, there’s also a sense of relaxation with tranquil gardens laced with trickling streams.

The restaurants of The Palace of the Lost City include The Grill Room steakhouse The Crystal Court where you can enjoy breakfast and weekend dinners, The Tusk Bar & Lounge and The Palace Pool Deck serving delicious drinks and wood-fired pizza.
Crystal Court
Open daily for breakfast and for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights, Crystal Court is exclusively for guests of The Palace.
The Grill Room
Open for dinner, this is the signature steakhouse with an impressive wine list to match.

Keeping you refreshed poolside with cocktails, snacks and wood-fired pizzas.
Tusk Bar & Lounge
Enjoy drinks in the opulent safari-themed hotel bar.
There are two luxurious spas available. The Royal Salon offers a range of treatments and is open from 10am-7pm each day, while the Gary Player Health Spa has the same opening hours and also offers a gym, spa, pool, steam room and hairdresser.
Head out on a Big Five safari in the Pilanesberg National Park or treat yourself to an unforgettable experience on a hot-air balloon safari over the park. You can also spend your days making the most of the excellent range of facilities at the Sun City Resort which include The Valley of the Waves waterpark, a lazy river, tennis, volleyball, ten-pin bowling plus an entertainment centre.
The Gary Player Country Club features an 18 hole golf course, pro shop, chipping and putting green. Snacks are available at the Halfway House situated next to the 9th hole.
The Lost City Golf Course and Country Club features an 18 hole desert-style golf course and has a unique crocodile infested 13th hole. Course facilities include pro shop, driving range and restaurant.
