Although there are no main spa facilities, you can arrange a massage in the comfort of your own cottage. Most of the spa products used are made of organic ingredients from the Seychelles.

You won’t be able to resist the calming turquoise waters whether its snorkelling and canoeing or just taking a leisurely dip to cool off. Whilst on land you can do an island tour, tennis and bike riding.

Turtles, white-tip sharks, rays and reef fish live in the pristine reef, and you can get a glimpse into their home. From September to mid-November, you may even spot some manta rays and whale sharks. There are 9 different coral dive sites for you to try out so why not hire some equipment* and explore what lies below the surface, it truly is beautiful.

Denis Private Island is an example of how luxury and sustainability can go hand in hand. The island is almost entirely self-sufficient, with a working farm that supplies fresh vegetables, fruits, dairy, poultry, and meat – all grown or raised just steps from your cottage. Even the cows are fed with coconut palms, boosting milk production in the most island-chic way imaginable.

Furniture and flooring? Crafted on-site at the island’s own lumber mill and carpentry workshop using local materials. The resort’s commitment to reducing imports and waste means you’ll be surrounded by natural beauty – and not a single plastic straw in sight.

But the real stars of the show are the island’s conservation efforts. Denis is home to some of the rarest birds in the Seychelles, including the Seychelles fody, magpie robin, paradise flycatcher, and warbler – all thriving thanks to reforestation and habitat restoration. You might even spot a giant tortoise lumbering by or witness hawksbill and green turtles nesting on the protected shoreline.

The surrounding waters are part of a Marine Protected Area, safeguarding vibrant reef ecosystems and supporting sustainable fishing and diving. Researchers from the Green Islands Foundation are regular guests, working on long-term conservation projects.

A remote island with limited Wi-Fi might sound like a challenge for screen-loving kids, but Denis Private Island turns it into an opportunity for connection and discovery. The island’s working farm isn’t just the source of fresh produce for the kitchen – it’s a hands-on adventure for families. Children can meet friendly pigs, cows, and goats and even help collect freshly laid eggs in the morning. It’s a gentle and joyful way to learn about nature and food, swap screen time for real-life experiences and create memories that last far longer than any TikTok trend.
