Stay just outside Lecce and keep your options open, beach club one day, baroque sightseeing the next, and spa by late afternoon either way.
Tucked between Lecce’s baroque old town and the Adriatic coast, MIRA Acaya Golf Resort & Spa is one of those places that neatly solves a common Puglia dilemma: do you base yourself in a town, by the beach, or somewhere rural? Here, you’re close enough to dip into Lecce for aperitivo and architecture, near enough to the coast for an easy beach club day, and back at the hotel, you’ve got a great golf course, two outdoor pools, landscaped grounds, and a spa circuit that tends to creep into your daily schedule.
Why we love MIRA Acaya Golf Resort & Spa
-
You can explore Lecce in the morning and still be back in time for an afternoon by the pool or a twilight round of golf.
-
The Adriatic beach clubs are close enough that an on-a-whim swim feels doable.
-
There’s enough at the hotel to happily fill a day when you can’t face getting back in the car.
-
Just the two of you? There’s an adults-only pool if you’re after something a little calmer in peak summer.
Rooms
Rooms are simple and modern in style, with clean lines, tiled floors, light woods, and soft neutral tones that keep things feeling fresh and cool. Many open onto private terraces or balconies overlooking the gardens or the golf course. If you know you’ll spend time on site between spa sessions and pool afternoons, the Junior Suite gives you somewhere to sit that isn’t the edge of the bed, ideal for a pre-dinner drink or planning tomorrow’s beach day.
Facilities
Dining revolves around a main hotel restaurant serving buffet breakfast and à la carte lunch and dinner, alongside a relaxed lounge bar for drinks and lighter bites. In warmer months, a poolside bar handles daytime snacks, lunches, and cold drinks between swims, while the golf clubhouse restaurant offers an alternative spot for a more casual meal after a round or countryside walk.
Gian Giacomo
Buffet breakfast and regional Salento dishes served throughout the day.
Rock Bar
Cocktails, wines, and light bites in a relaxed lounge setting.
Sunrise Pool Bar
Poolside lunches and daytime drinks in the summer months.
Masseria San Pietro
Casual dining close to the course after a morning on the fairways.

The wellness centre includes an indoor heated pool with hydromassage features, plus a full thermal circuit with Finnish sauna, Turkish bath, calidarium (a warm, steam filled room designed for gentle heat therapy), ice room, and sensory showers. There are also dedicated relaxation areas for post treatment downtime, alongside treatment rooms offering massages, facials, and body therapies. There’s also a gym on site if you’re keeping active between spa sessions.
The Adriatic beaches are around 10 to 15 minutes away by car if you fancy a day by the sea.
The resort sits alongside the WWF protected Cesine Nature Reserve, with landscaping designed to integrate with the surrounding environment.
Family Rooms are available, and with one adult-only pool and another with shallow areas, it works well for mixed age groups.
Experience the challenges on the 18 hole par-71 course which has been rated as a 5-star Superior BVGA Golf Club. Improve your swing on the driving range or book a session at the Golf Academy if you want to learn the game.
