 Luxury Grenada

This week-long luxury Grenada holiday pairs glorious Grand Anse Beach with a more intimate, food-led finish on the island’s south-west coast.

For Grenada at its most elegant, split your week between two of the island’s standout addresses. You’ll fly into Grenada’s south-west, with the transfer to Spice Island Beach Resort usually only around 10 to 15 minutes, so the arrival day stays blissfully simple. The first four nights put you directly on Grand Anse Beach, close to calm water, local life, the spice market, and St George’s. Then you’ll move to Calabash Grenada for three nights, which has a more intimate feel. The two hotels are close enough for the transfer to feel simple, but different enough to give the week a real sense of progression. Beach first, then calm. It’s luxurious, but in a way that feels warm, grounded, and very Grenadian.

Days 1-4

Spice Island Beach Resort

After landing on Grenada, you’ll transfer to Spice Island Beach Resort on Grand Anse Beach, one of the best places to begin. The drive is usually only around 15 minutes, so you can go from aircraft to sea air without a long arrival slog. Grand Anse works so well because it gives you a lot in one place: a long, swimmable beach, calm water, local restaurants, and access to St George’s, Grenada’s capital, set around a horseshoe-shaped harbour, and its market provides a fabulous first taste of the island’s spice culture. Nutmeg, cocoa, cinnamon, cloves, and bay leaf are a part of everyday Grenada, and you’ll find they turn up in sauces, desserts, and rum punches throughout your trip. We’d recommend a rainforest walk when you’re here, to add a cooler, greener layer to your experience. Then, on your final evening at Spice Island Beach Resort, a sunset dinner brings a sense of occasion before the trip shifts into its second chapter.

Days 5-8

Calabash Grenada

The move from Spice Island Beach Resort to Calabash Grenada is a short transfer, so the middle of the holiday doesn’t get swallowed by logistics. Calabash sits in a more serene pocket of the south-west coast, which makes it a natural place for the final three nights. By now, you’ve had Grand Anse, the spice market, and rainforest, so the focus can move towards food, service, space, and slowing down. A sunset cruise fits the vibe beautifully, giving you time out on the water as the island softens in the evening light. The south-west location still keeps you within reach of the airport for the journey home, so the final day can stay relaxed rather than turn into a waiting game. By the end, you’ve seen Grenada through two different lenses: the open, beachfront ease of Grand Anse, and the more intimate, food-led calm of Calabash.
