Sal Salis, Cape Range National Park
Remote luxury bush camp
With just 15 blissfully comfortable tents, Sal Salis is a member of the Luxury Lodges of Australia, nestled in the white dunes of Cape Range National Park and just steps from one of the world’s largest fringing reefs. A natural paradise with a range of activities including snorkelling, sea kayaking and guided gorge walks before dining on bush-inspired cuisine under the stars.

Facilities
• Operated in conjunction with Australian Parks and Wildlife Service
• Built with minimal impact to the environment
• 100% solar energy used
• Tents have no air-conditioning and instead face the ocean to allow the coastal breeze to naturally cool the interior
• Tents each have a composting toilet using grey water from the showers
• Organic cotton linen is chemical free and hung-dry to avoid ironing
• Locally-produced soaps are chemical free and include native herbs
• Organic shampoos and conditioners are supplied
• Guests are each allocated 20-litres of water a day for showering and washing, with no water available after 10pm
• Waste is transported to Exmouth waste depot and bottles and cans are separated at the camp and taken to the recycling depot
