Urban Wonders & Tropical Trails

A family focused, three-stop holiday to Singapore, and two Thai islands.

This trip is built for that rare sweet spot of family holidays: big enough to feel exciting, easy enough to actually enjoy. You’ll start in Singapore, where Sentosa puts beaches, cable cars, theme-park thrills, and city sights within easy reach, then fly to Phuket for elephants, Thai culture, and beach time, before finishing on Koh Yao Yai with a speedboat arrival, family-sized suites, and a resort made for switching off together.

Days 1-3

Singapore

Arrive in Singapore and transfer to The Village Sentosa, your base for three nights. Sentosa is Singapore’s resort island, set just off the city’s southern coast, and The Village puts you right in the family zone: close to Palawan Beach, Universal Studios Singapore, Singapore Oceanarium, KidZania, and the cable car from nearby Sensoryscape Station. With everyone rested, you can turn the dial up. Use these two days to mix Sentosa’s family attractions with Singapore’s city sights. Head to Palawan Beach for sand and splash time, take the cable car, or add the Skyline Luge, where you ride three-wheeled carts down purpose-built tracks. For the big family day out, Universal Studios Singapore has rides, shows, meet-and-greets, and themed zones based on blockbuster films and TV favourites.

Days 4-7

Phuket

Fly from Singapore to Phuket, then transfer to Sunwing Kamala Beach for four nights. This is your easy beach-and-activities chapter. Studios come with a kitchenette and sofa bed, while the resort adds eight pools, three slides, a children’s pool, a kids club, and a teen lounge. Alternatively, Banyan Tree Phuket is the luxury family upgrade, with Signature Two-Bedroom Pool Villas offering ample space, a private garden, a pool, and a big splash appeal. When you’re ready to explore, Phuket Elephant Sanctuary is the one we’d put money on the kids talking about long after they’re home. You’ll see rescued elephants foraging, bathing, and roaming in a protected jungle setting, with keepers sharing the stories behind their care. It’s exciting, but done properly: no tricks, no rides, just big, brilliant animals. You can also add a Discover Phuket tour for a fuller look at the island beyond the beach, from coastal viewpoints and Wat Chalong to Phuket Old Town, local food, cashew nuts, rubber, and rice growing.

Elephant Care Experience in Phuket
Phuket

This half-day trip is a fantastic opportunity to get close to Thailand’s remarkable elephants, where the emphasis is on learning from the sanctuary’s caretakers. After a scenic drive through a local village, you’ll arrive at the elephant sanctuary in a picturesque jungle dotted with ponds, open fields, and hills for the elephants to roam around. You’ll venture into the sanctuary and explore Thailand’s longest canopy walkway and nature trails to locate the elephants and observe them foraging and bathing freely. By keeping a safe and respectful distance, the elephants can express their natural behaviour, play and socialise with each other. Before your trip ends, a delicious vegetarian/vegan Thai buffet lunch is served.

Phuket Explorer
Phuket

Get ready to explore Phuket’s greatest hits on this fun half‑day adventure — perfect for seeing the island’s highlights without rushing. With a small group and a friendly local guide, it’s sightseeing with a smile.

Start at the island’s spiritual heart, Wat Chalong, where glittering details, gentle incense aromas and peaceful surroundings offer a fascinating glimpse into Buddhist life. Next up, it’s snack time at a local cashew nut factory, where you’ll see how they’re made and taste a few warm, freshly roasted favourites. Next, step into old‑world glamour at the beautiful Chinpracha House, a Sino‑Portuguese mansion so photogenic it’s starred in films like "The Heaven and Earth" and "Young Indiana Jone". Then wander through Old Phuket Town, where colourful streets, hidden corners and a traditional Chinese temple reveal the island’s multicultural story. Finish on a high (quite literally) at Rang Hill, snapping panoramic views over Phuket Town with the Big Golden Buddha in the background before heading back to your hotel, camera full and curiosity satisfied.

• Duration: half day
• Timings: 8.30am to 1.30pm

• Group experience (private tours available on request basis)

Days 8-12

Koh Yao Yai

Travel by road and speedboat to Koh Yao Yai, with the boat crossing taking around 30 minutes. This is where the journey becomes part of the fun: sea spray, island views, and the thrill of arriving by boat at Anantara Koh Yao Yai Resort & Villas’ private jetty. This is your island finale: calmer than Phuket, but with plenty to keep everyone happily occupied. The resort has Southern Thailand’s largest kids’ club, a family pool with big slides and water games, arts and crafts, cooking classes, nature activities, and movie nights.
