Dating back to 1934, Nor-Khill is a charming heritage hotel perched high in the Himalaya
The Elgin Nor-Khill is located in the heart of Gangtok and is a wonderful base from which to explore its ancient monasteries and surrounding pine forests and mountains. Its first owner was the Chogyal (King) of Sikkim in the 1930s and now, as a heritage hotel, it is packed with many original features and plenty of old-world charm. Expect oak floorboards, Burmese teak furniture and open fireplaces.
