The Norwegian Jade has a friendly, sociable feel with plenty of choice on board. There’s a good mix of bars, live music venues, a spa, pools and spaces for quiet time too. Itinerary overview
Trip notes
Before your cruise
We’ve suggested a three-night stay in Hong Kong to ease into the journey and get a feel for the city’s energy. If you’re after a deeper dive into China, it’s easy to swap in a tour taking in Beijing, the Forbidden City, the Terracotta Warriors in Xi’an, and a walk along the Great Wall for a more immersive glimpse into the country’s vast history.

Trip notes
Ashore in Coron
This cruise includes a stop in Coron, part of the Calamian Islands in Palawan. With its limestone cliffs, turquoise lagoons and coral reefs, it’s ideal for snorkelling and slow-mo exploring. Excursions arranged through Norwegian Cruise Line include reef and WWII wreck snorkelling, a visit to Kayangan Lake, and time to unwind on white-sand beaches like Beach 91.

Trip notes
Flavours on board
There are 16 dining venues on Norwegian Jade, from casual cafés to more elevated restaurants. Many are included, while a few have small cover charges. Standouts include Teppanyaki, with its sizzling tableside chefs, and Le Bistro, a French-inspired restaurant with ocean views. There’s no set dining time or dress code. Just pick what suits you, when it suits you.

Trip notes
After your cruise
Singapore is the perfect place to wrap things up. Keep the momentum going with a few days to explore its hawker centres, gardens and riverside paths. Don’t miss at least one night at the Supertree Grove to watch the light show. For something slower, hop over to Bali. It’s just less than a three-hour flight away and ideal for a few days of beach time, temple visits and sunset dinners.

Days 1 to 3
Hong Kong
First up is Hong Kong, a mix of city and coastline. Visit Victoria Peak for all-around views, take to a traditional junk boat on Repulse Bay, or go for a sampan ride through the floating fishing village at Aberdeen.

Day 4
Hong Kong
Board your ship and make yourself at home. Take time to explore the decks, linger over a leisurely lunch and raise a glass as you set sail.

Day 5
At sea
The sea sets today’s tone: slow, spacious and unhurried. Read, swim, nap or simply enjoy the wide-open view from the deck.

Day 6
Coron, Philippines
Step ashore into paradise. Choose between snorkelling among wartime wrecks, hiking to a tranquil lake or drifting the day away at a hidden beach.

Day 7
Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia
From mountain foothills to bustling street scenes, this city keeps things interesting. Visit Kinabalu Park, shop at the lively markets or tuck into fresh seafood by the shore.

Day 8
Muara, Brunei Darussalam
Explore this lesser-known gem with its gleaming mosques and peaceful river life. A water taxi through Kampong Ayer offers a look at life on stilts.

Day 9
At sea
Let time stretch out with nothing to rush for on this day at sea. Maybe book a treatment in the on-board spa or take a long, leisurely lunch.

Day 10
Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Whizz through the energetic streets in a cycle rickshaw, taking in French architecture and local life. For something slower, cruise along the Mekong Delta and watch the world drift by.

Day 11
At sea
Another chance to enjoy the best of ship life. Catch a talk, see a show or simply claim a sunny spot on deck.

Day 12
Bangkok, Thailand
Temples, palaces and food carts galore. Explore the Grand Palace, glide past the Temple of Dawn on a river boat or snack your way through the buzzing markets.

Day 13
Koh Samui, Thailand
Think waterfalls, palm-fringed shores and maybe a monkey or two. Chill out at the beach or take a wander inland for some jungle charm.

Day 14
At sea
Your final sea day is all about soaking it in. The fresh air, the peace, the sense of escape.

Days 15 to 16
Singapore
Arrive in Singapore and leave Norwegian Jade behind. Explore at your own pace. Visit the National Gallery, take a bumboat ride on the Singapore River or dive into the city’s legendary food scene at a local hawker centre.

Day 17
Singapore
Let the holiday come to a close with one more hotel breakfast and a bit of time hitting the shops at one of the world’s best airports.
