Shamwari Private Game Reserve – Bayethe Tented Lodge

Safari luxury with a contemporary twist

A luxurious lodge experience in the heart of Shamwari

Bayethe translates as ‘I salute you’ and is one of the warmest greetings you can receive in Africa. This welcome is extended when you first enter Bayethe Tented Lodge. Immersed deep in the African bush on Shamwari Private Game Reserve, this luxurious lodge is positioned overlooking a waterhole where animals can often be seen. Here you can relax in vast private tents, with a great selection of bush facilities on hand to ensure you enjoy a comfortable stay whilst knowledgeable guides try to seek out the elusive Big Five. There is a small outdoor swimming pool with deck area, but as each of the tents has its own plunge pool, Bayethe doesn’t really need anything bigger.
