Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi

Always glittering in gold

This magnificent hotel is a palace of Arabian culture and ever-ready service.

Covered in 22-karat gold leaf and thousands of crystal chandeliers, the palatial Emirates Palace is all of Abu Dhabi’s brilliance spread at your feet. Swathes of white sands are a big draw as are the palm-lined pools, gold-flaked cappuccinos and 24-karat gold facials. Among the restaurants is award-winning Hakkasan and Michelin-star Talea by Antonio Guida.

Why we love Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi

  • The little luxuries - doormen in tailcoats and 24-hour butler service.

  • The quiet romance of dining in a lantern-lit cabana by the Arabian Sea at BBQ Al Qasr.

  • Afternoon tea at the Palace – frivolous, photogenic and delicious.

  • Children feel special with kid-sized robes and slippers, an outdoor play zone and lazy river.
