Restaurants & bars

The resort’s main restaurant Spice Market offers specialities from around the Arabian Peninsula as well as international cuisine and is open for breakfast and dinner. For an al fresco lunch, afternoon snack or a refreshing and homemade sorbet or ice cream in the cooler winter months head to the laid-back Summer House. A unique dining experience for guests here is an evening at the elevated restaurant Sense on the Edge, which boasts an exceptional mountain-top setting and delicious contemporary set menus of three to nine courses.

During your stay be sure to reserve a spot at the Shua Shack where you can partake in a unique Bedouin dining experience on a Monday or Friday. An organic salad is followed by locally sourced lamb which is cooked in the authentic underground oven. For a private romantic evening for two or a night spent with friends you can choose to dine in the refreshingly cool Wine Cellar.

Spa & wellness

Awarded the prestigious title of Best Overseas Hotel Spa 2015 by Conde Nast Traveller UK, the Six Senses Spa is a tranquil oasis with nine treatment rooms and two Moroccan Hammams. Six Senses spas around the world have a fantastic reputation and it is no different here, a perfect retreat in the desert. Wellness programmes and a wide-ranging menu of regional and Six Senses signature treatments focuses on holistic and pampering therapies using only natural products. Treatments are administered by skilled international therapists and specialist practitioners who combine Eastern and Western techniques with modern day lifestyle programmes to balance the senses. The Hammans are a highlight of the spa, inspired by the traditional healing therapies of Northern Africa. Steam baths are followed with a mixture of exfoliation treatments followed by the application of essential oils and clay masks. Couples will love the Zighy Romance Ritual while those looking to take part in the signature Six Senses activities such as paragliding and rock climbing may want to try the Zighy Energizer ritual.

Chaica’s Kids’ Club offers a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities for kids ages 4-10. At Al Feetean’s Teen Club older children and teenagers can enjoy more adventurous experiences.
