 The Alluvian, Greenwood

Heart of the Delta

Small town pace, wide skies, and a main street define Greenwood, with The Alluvian giving it a fresh, confident edge.

Greenwood is rich with Mississippi Delta history, from blues and civil rights stories to a food scene that punches above its weight. The Alluvian sits right in the middle of town, giving all of that a sense of occasion. With a full spa, a yoga studio, and a hands-on cooking school, it encourages you to slow down, settle in, and make the most of what it has to offer.

Why we love The Alluvian, Greenwood

  • The Alluvian feels woven into Greenwood rather than set apart from it. Locals use the lobby, bar, and restaurant throughout the day, giving the hotel an easy sense of familiarity instead of a guest-only bubble.

  • The hotel carries a clear sense of pride. Artwork by regional artists, books, and photographs reference the Delta’s food, music, and history.

  • Staying here turns Greenwood into a deliberate stop rather than a pass-through. It gives you a reason to slow down, look around, and spend time in the Delta rather than just driving through it.

  • The spa is relaxed and unpretentious, the kind of place where you can unwind and feel taken care of.

The spa is a genuine highlight and feels like a luxury you might not expect to find in a town this size.
