 Hotel Tupelo

Modern Mississippi

Hotel Tupelo has a fresh, considered style that might well exceed your expectations for a town of its size.

Hotel Tupelo suits people on a Deep South road trip who want a stop that feels more than purely functional. Location wise, it works well if you’re curious about Elvis Presley’s roots, interested in seeing a modern side of Mississippi, or simply ready to pause somewhere walkable and welcoming. Set in downtown Tupelo’s Fairpark district, the hotel pops you close to cafés, shops, and the Elvis Presley Birthplace, making it easy to explore.

Why we love Hotel Tupelo

  • Hotel Tupelo has the polished feel of a small city hotel, which sets the tone straight away and makes it feel like a stay you’ll remember, not just a place to sleep between drives.

  • Everything is easy to do from here. You can visit Elvis’ birthplace, wander downtown, eat well, and still have time to put your feet up.

  • Elvis is part of the story here, but so is everyday Tupelo, which keeps the experience grounded and avoids anything feeling themed.

  • Rooms are modern, comfortable, and well thought out, with comfy beds and a calm feel that makes it easy to unwind. It’s the sort of room you’re genuinely happy to come back to at the end of the day.

Facilities

  • Restaurants & bars
  • Spas & wellness

There’s just one restaurant at Hotel Tupelo, but it’s a great spot to try after a long day on the road. Jobos is a solid, modern coastal-leaning restaurant doubles as the bar and serves breakfast, weekend brunch, and dinner with surf-and-turf specialities, tapas and handcrafted cocktails like margaritas and palomas in a lively, stylish space.

Jobos

Mornings start with good coffee and breakfast, and evenings revolve around a menu that balances seafood, comfort dishes, and sharing plates.

There’s a fitness room if you want it, but most people end up moving more simply by being out and about. Downtown is walkable, the Elvis site is close enough to loop in on foot.
