A modern and attractive hotel overlooking Casco Bay, on the Downtown Waterfront, the AC Hotel Portland is a reliable and convenient base for exploring the city.

The AC’s Fore Street location puts its guest a couple of blocks from the atmospheric Old Port District, which buzzes with boutiques, bars and restaurants. It’s also a stroll away from the Portland Observatory, the Casco Bay ferry terminal – for trips to the islands – and the sand and pebble-covered East End Beach. Like the bright and breezy lobby, which displays some interesting art, rooms are simple and contemporary with no compromise on comfort. Portland is proud of its local produce and restaurants, as you’ll no doubt find as you comb its markets and neighbourhoods (pick up a copy of the food map).
