Speak to one of our experts now about this offer
Wake up above the Amalfi Coast, where lemon groves cling to the hillside, the sea does its best work far below, and everything feels just a little bit removed from the Positano crowds.
Hotel Belvedere is a classic, family-run cliffside hotel in Conca dei Marini, set between Amalfi and Positano with wide open views across the Tyrrhenian Sea. It’s the sort of place that understands why you came: sunshine, swimming, good food, and the coast laid out in front of you, and focuses on delivering exactly that. Just along the coast, Conca dei Marini’s most famous attraction is the Emerald Grotto, a small karst cave where sunlight filters through underwater openings, turning the water a vivid emerald, as if nature accidentally left a spotlight on.
Why we love Hotel Belvedere
-
There’s a private rocky sea platform below the hotel, reached by steps from the pool.
-
Every room comes with a private sea view terrace, so you always have your own spot for the view.
-
The large seawater pool looks straight across the Amalfi Coast from its clifftop position (the pool is reached from the hotel with a lift carved directly into the cliff).
-
A minibus shuttle (which you’ll need to pay for) runs to and from Amalfi town throughout the day, making getting around much simpler.
Rooms
Rooms are traditional and bright, with a classic Amalfi playbook of cool blues, crisp whites, hand painted tiles, and light fabrics. It’s all very coastal and easy going, with the sea doing most of the heavy lifting when it comes to décor, especially once you step out onto your private terrace. Bathrooms are bright and perfectly functional, but not especially modern in style — think more traditional tiling than spa-like minimalism. If you know you’ll want to sit out with a drink, read, or sprawl in the sun after a swim, it’s worth considering upgrading for the larger terraces.
Facilities
There’s one main panoramic restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a half board option and a daily menu that changes regularly. Expect Mediterranean cooking with an Amalfi Coast slant, local seafood, seasonal produce, and fresh pasta. During the day, the pool bar handles lighter lunches, snacky bits, and all-important cold drinks between dips. If you’re in the mood to head out, Amalfi’s restaurants are a short drive or shuttle ride away.
Ristorante al Belvedere
The restaurant serves breakfast buffet-style with a sea view, then evolves through the day into relaxed lunches and Mediterranean dinners built around local seafood and seasonal produce.#/#
Pool bar
Poolside lunches and all-day drinks for when the only plan is swim, sun, repeat.

Buffet breakfast at Ristorante al Belvedere

Wellness here is the sea, the sun, and that seawater pool doing its thing. If you need a more structured workout, there’s an outdoor tennis court among the activities, and the rest is best handled with coastal walks and lots (and lots) of stairs.#/#
