Stay by Lake Garda in landscaped parkland just outside Riva, with space, pools, and a private path down to the lakeside if you fancy a swim.
Du Lac et Du Parc Grand Resort sits just outside Riva del Garda on the lake’s northern shore, but instead of lining up along the promenade with everyone else, it’s set back in several acres of proper parkland. Paths wind through palm trees, redwoods, magnolias, and big lawns eventually lead you down to the lakefront for scenic walks or swims. It’s a resort that works especially well if you like the idea of Lake Garda for an active break (think sailing, cycling, walking) but still want somewhere that feels like a retreat when you get back, rather than just a place to sleep between outings.

Rooms
Accommodation is split between the main hotel building, suites, and standalone bungalows scattered through the gardens. Rooms in the hotel are light and contemporary in style, with balconies in many categories, while the bungalows feel more private, set among the greenery with direct access to the grounds. If you know you’ll spend time on site between lake swims and afternoons by the pool, it’s worth looking at the Parc Rooms or Deluxe categories for a bit more outdoor space.

Facilities
There are three dining spots to rotate between depending on whether you’re heading out later or settling in for the evening. The main restaurant handles breakfast and dinner with a live-cooking format built around Italian and regional dishes. During the day, the poolside restaurant serves lighter lunches, snacks, and drinks, and in high summer opens for relaxed outdoor dinners too. The lounge bar and bistrot is the place for aperitivo, coffee, or something easy before you decide whether you’re heading into town or calling it a night.

Evening dining with live cooking and a menu built around seasonal Italian classics, from handmade pasta to regional dishes that change with what’s fresh.
La Capannina
A relaxed, poolside spot open in the warmer months for lunch or informal dinners, covering everything from Neapolitan pizza to grilled fish and salads.
