Why we love The Sands at Grace Bay

Suites come with kitchenettes or full kitchens, giving you flexibility for to prepare a simple breakfast or family meal, or pour yourself a glass of wine to sip on the balcony.
-
Three beautifully designed pools wind through the gardens, including one close to the beach and another designed for little swimmers.
-
Complimentary Hobie Cats, kayaks, paddleboards, and snorkelling gear mean you can dip in and out of the water whenever the mood strikes.

Rooms
The rooms at The Sands feel like your own beach apartment — airy, unfussy, and built for comfort and convenience. Junior Suites are a great fit for couples or families whose kids don’t mind a sofa bed, while one-, two-, and three-bedroom suites give families and plenty of room and laundry facilities, so you won’t be scratching around for clean swimmers and t-shirts by the end of your holiday. Choosing comes down to how much space you need, then deciding whether an ocean view is a must-have or you prefer garden views for a little more seclusion and privacy.
Facilities
Dining at The Sands keeps things simple, fresh, and satisfying. Breakfast is relaxed and unhurried, lunches lean towards crisp salads and grilled favourites, and dinner brings in more island flair with local seafood and Caribbean classics. There’s only one restaurant, but when you’re in the mood to mix things up, you can walk to nearby options or try restaurants at the resort’s sister hotels.

All non-motorised watersports are included in your stay, so it is easy to get out on the water. The Sands works brilliantly for families who like a bit of space and flexibility. Suites with kitchens, living rooms, and laundry facilities make travelling with children far easier, and the layout of the resort means everything is within easy reach. The kids’ pool is shallow and shaded, and the main pools are welcoming without feeling crowded. The beach itself is calm and safe, ideal for younger swimmers.
Restaurant menus include plenty of simple, crowd-pleasing dishes, and the option to cook in your suite keeps mealtimes stress-free. With complimentary bikes, free water sports, and a relaxed, unhurried feel, family time here tends to fall into place as if by magic.
