 Beaches Turks & Caicos

Big, bold, and built for fun

It’s rare to find a resort that truly caters to families and still delivers on style, food, wellness and adventure. Beaches Turks & Caicos pulls it off with a pizzazz that’s hard to beat.

Right on Grace Bay’s world-famous white sand, this isn’t just a resort—it’s a sun-splashed little world of its own. There’s an Italian Village with big family suites, a relaxed Key West corner, and Caribbean and French Villages filled with colour and charm. Add to that the laid-back luxury of the Seaside Village, where beachfront bliss meets breezy elegance, and the tucked-away tranquillity of Treasure Beach Village, perfect for peaceful escapes and sunset strolls.

Everywhere you turn there’s another pool, café, or beach bar waiting to be found. It’s a big operation that runs like clockwork and has that ‘we already thought of that!’ appeal—whether you’re chasing sun, sushi, or snorkelling time. The best part? It’s genuinely (and generously) all-inclusive, so once you’re here, you can focus entirely on fun and always say yes to that extra ice cream.

Why we love Beaches Turks & Caicos

  • There’s real choice here — 23 restaurants, 2 food trucks and 18 bars serving everything from kid-friendly Italian favourites to seafood and jerk chicken and flaky French pastries.

  • Scuba diving is included (which is almost unheard of; for certified divers only), and an impressive selection of non-motorised watersports are on hand whenever the mood strikes.

  • The Pirates Island waterpark is huge, with slides, a lazy river, surf simulators, and just enough thrill for every age group. And it’s the tip of the iceberg for incredible kid-centric activities available.

  • It’s big, but it never feels overwhelming, thanks to five distinct villages that each have their own pools, restaurants, and personalities.

If you want it to be, Beaches can be a real go-go-go type holiday that ideal for active families. The Red Lane Spa is where to go when you need a proper pause or to schedule in a little downtime with your teen. While the majority or activities are included at Beaches, spa treatments cost extra and are best booked early, as slots can fill up fast. Fitness, on the other hand, is included in your stay. The gym is bright, well equipped with Technogym machines and free weights, and open for self-guided workouts. You can also join complimentary yoga, Pilates, or stretch classes.

The ocean is part of everyday life at Beaches Turks & Caicos. Guests can take out kayaks, paddleboards, and Hobie Cats or simply grab a snorkel and explore from the shore. Scuba diving is fully included (for certified divers only), with PADI-certified instruction and trips to some of the best reefs in the Caribbean. The marine life is spectacular, with turtles, rays, and vibrant coral close by. For those who prefer to stay above the surface, private charters, snorkelling trips, and sunset sails are easy to arrange.

Beaches is part of the Sandals group, which runs one of the Caribbean’s most active sustainability programmes. The resort has reduced single-use plastics, supports coral reef protection through the Sandals Foundation, and uses natural, locally inspired ingredients in its spa. Landscaping relies on native plants to reduce water use, and the food and beverage team works closely with regional producers. It’s a practical, everyday approach to sustainability that makes a visible difference.

Everything is designed to make travelling with children easy. The Kids Camp runs daily and is divided by age, starting with nurseries for babies from birth to two years, fully equipped with toys, nap spaces, and trained childcare staff. Younger children aged 3-7 join small groups for beach games, crafts, and playtime with Sesame Street characters, while those aged 8-10 can join treasure hunts, snorkelling lessons, and nature walks. Tweens and teens have their own spaces, including the Trench Town lounge with games and music, as well as beach volleyball, karaoke nights, and themed parties.

The 45,000-square-foot Pirates Island waterpark is one of the resort’s biggest draws, with slides, a surf simulator, splash zones, and a lazy river that keeps kids (and adults) happy for hours. Lifeguards are always on duty, and the younger ones have gentler areas to play in. Sesame Street characters pop up throughout the day for parades, dance sessions, and story time, and families can book special paid-for extras like a private character tuck-in at bedtime. Evenings bring open-air movies, beach barbecues, and live shows designed for all ages.

Rooms and suites are designed for family life, with practical touches such as bunk beds, sofa beds, and interconnecting layouts. The Italian Village Family Suites include separate kids’ rooms, while Key West villas have full kitchens and multiple bedrooms. Cots, highchairs, and bottle warmers are available on request at no extra cost, and private babysitting can be arranged for an additional fee. Beaches Turks & Caicos is also a Certified Autism Centre, with staff trained to support families who need quieter spaces or sensory-friendly activities.
