Dining comes with sea views, poolside breezes views and local seasonal flavours. There are three venues, the main restaurant and two bars, plus the option to book a private chef (two days’ notice needed) for something unforgettable.
Drop Anchor
Open 7am until 9pm, this is the resort’s main restaurant, by the pool and facing the sea. Globally inspired menus with the day’s freshest ingredients
Sandbar
Open 12 noon until sunset, this is the place for cocktails, light bites and the Rum Tasting Experience.
Poolside Bar
Open from 8am until 9pm for cocktails, spritzes and soft drinks by the pool.

Breakfast at Drop Anchor
The hotel’s spa therapist and esthetician brings treatments including 24K gold facials, deep tissue body massage and sea bliss body scrubs to your room or on the sea-facing platform. A yoga deck, fitness centre (Pelotons, free weights and cardio) and Olympic weightlifting platform round out the wellness offerings.
With the Caribbean Sea waiting just below, paddling, diving, snorkelling and sailing all come naturally. The watersports hut has everything you need and there’s a private beach too.
Luxury and sustainability move in sync at Sunset Reef. The resort operates mostly on renewable energy including geothermal and solar systems powering everything from air-con to pool heating. Native landscaping keeps irrigation at a minimum, FDA-approved water filtering ensures safe water and ice and plastic has nearly vanished from the hotel - no bottled water or wasteful packaging. For the future? Wind turbines and a solar cube are in the making.
