Itinerary overview
Day 1
Montréal
You’ll arrive in Montréal and make your way to your hotel in the heart of the city, where your tour director will be ready to greet you and get things rolling. Once you’ve checked in, the rest of the day is yours. You might fancy a relaxed stroll through the nearby neighbourhoods, grab a bite of something French and flaky, or simply unwind after your journey. You’ve got two nights in your Montréal hotel. Overnight at Hotel Faubourg Montreal or Hotel Le Cantile Suites.

Day 2
Montréal
Today, you’ll properly get to grips with Montréal on a guided tour. From the buzz of downtown to the old-world streets of Old Montréal, the Olympic complex, Mount Royal’s leafy views, and the university quarter, you’ll see how this city wears many hats (and wears them well). You’ve got the option to dive into the Biodome, where penguins and parrots share the spotlight, or wander the Botanical Gardens, complete with themed trails and more plants than you could count in a week. You’ll stay another night in Montréal. Overnight at Hotel Faubourg Montreal or Hotel Le Cantile Suites.

Day 3
Québec City
You’ll leave Montréal behind and follow the scenic St Lawrence River along the Chemin du Roy, a historic route that winds through quiet villages and open farmland. The coach journey to Québec City takes around three hours, excluding stops. Once you arrive, you’ll join a walking tour through the walled old town, with its grand gates, cobbled lanes, and the vast green lawns of Battlefields Park. You’ll spend the next two nights in Québec City, the heart of French Canada. Overnight at Hotel Palace Royal or Hotel Pur.

Day 4
Québec City
Today’s all yours. You can spend the day wandering through the city’s historic corners, browsing its shops and bakeries, or just sipping coffee somewhere with a good view. Want to go bigger? Join the optional day trip to Tadoussac and head out on a whale-watching cruise where the Saguenay and St Lawrence Rivers meet. On the way back, you’ll stop at Montmorency Falls, which is taller than Niagara. You’ll return to Québec City in time for a relaxed evening. Overnight at Hotel Palace Royal or Hotel Pur.

Day 5
Ottawa
This morning, you’ll head west towards Ottawa, following the Ottawa River. The drive from Québec City to Ottawa takes around five hours, with a scenic stop at a traditional sugar shack for a maple tasting and a peek at how syrup is made the old-fashioned way. Once you reach Canada’s capital, you’ll take a guided tour of key sights, including Parliament Hill, the UNESCO-listed Rideau Canal, ByWard Market, and a mix of green spaces and historic buildings. Overnight at Sheraton Gatineau or Chateau Cartier.

Day 6
Toronto
You’ll make your way to Toronto today, travelling through peaceful countryside and lakeside towns. The whole journey from Ottawa to Toronto takes around four and a half hours, with a break in Rockport, where you can choose to take a boat cruise through the Thousand Islands, a jumble of wooded islets and tucked-away cottages. When you arrive in Toronto, the evening is yours. You might visit a gallery, explore a lively neighbourhood, or head up the CN Tower for a citywide view. Overnight at Courtyard Toronto Downtown.

Day 7
Niagara Falls
You’ll start the day with a tour of Toronto’s top sights — the provincial parliament, the waterfront, and a few of its colourful districts. In the afternoon, you’ll head out to Niagara Falls, which is about an hour and a half away by coach. You’ll pass vineyards and lakeside towns along the way. Once there, you’ll have time to explore on your own or take an optional boat ride for a dramatic, up-close view of the falls. After the visit, you’ll return to Toronto for your final night. If you're on the 7-day itinerary, your tour will end today with a drop-off at your hotel or the airport. Overnight at Courtyard Toronto Downtown.

Day 8
Toronto & departure
You’ll check out and make your way to the airport in time for your flight.
