Itinerary overview
Day 1
Toronto
Welcome to Toronto, Canada’s biggest and busiest city. Once you've touched down and made your way to your hotel in the city centre, your tour director will be on hand to say hello, and you can settle into your base for the next two nights. The rest of the day is entirely up to you. Depending on when you arrive, you might fancy stretching your legs post-flight, grabbing a late dinner, or just ordering a drink in the hotel bar to ease into holiday mode. Overnight at Chelsea Hotel.

Day 2
Toronto
This morning, you’ll get a proper introduction to Toronto on a guided tour that takes in both its shiny skyscrapers and its quieter, characterful corners. Expect sights like the CN Tower, the lively harbourfront, the old and new City Halls, the grand University of Toronto, and the swish streets of Yorkville. You’ll also swing past the Rogers Centre, where the city cheers on everything from baseball to big-name gigs. The afternoon and evening are yours to spend as you like. Maybe dipping into an art gallery, poking around the shops, or returning to a place you visited on the morning tour and want to dig into further. Overnight at Chelsea Hotel.

Day 3
Montréal
You’ll be up early today to board the coach for the drive to Montréal, a journey of around six hours, not including stops. The route hugs the northern shore of Lake Ontario before continuing east through Ontario’s peaceful countryside. Partway through the day, you’ll pause in the Thousand Islands region for a leisurely river cruise. After stretching your legs and enjoying the fresh air, you’ll continue to Montréal, arriving by evening. You’ll have two nights in your hotel here. Overnight at Delta Hotel by Marriot Montréal.

Day 4
Montréal
Montréal is a city full of contrasts, where cobbled streets and grand old buildings cosy up to sleek, modern spaces. Today’s tour will give you a feel for it all. You’ll explore the charm of Old Montréal and see the sweeping Olympic Stadium, venture through the leafy slopes of Mount Royal, and pass by the academic buzz of McGill University. After that, the rest of the day is yours. You might fancy a mooch around a museum, take a moment in the park, or sit back with a coffee for a spot of people-watching at a local café. In the evening, you could plan dinner at one of the city’s buzzing bistros, catch a live jazz set in a tucked-away bar, or wander through the Old Port as the city lights shimmer on the water. Overnight at Delta Hotel by Marriot Montréal.

Day 5
Québec City
Head deeper into French-speaking Canada with a scenic drive of around three hours to Québec City. Part of the journey follows the historic Chemin du Roy, also known as the King’s Road, one of the oldest routes in North America, dating back to the 1700s when it was built to connect Montréal and Québec. It winds through quiet Quebecois villages, dotted with stone churches and traditional homes. Once you arrive, you’ll set out on a walking tour of the old town to check out the fortified walls, ornate city gates, colourful lanes of Lower Town, and views over the St Lawrence River from Battlefields Park. Overnight at Hoel Le Concorde.

Day 6
Québec City
You’ve got the whole day to do as much or as little as you like. Stay local and wander the shops, cafés, and winding alleys of the old city, or join an optional full-day excursion to Tadoussac. If you go, you’ll travel along the north shore of the St Lawrence River, where it meets the Saguenay, for a three-hour whale-watching cruise. On the way back, you’ll visit Montmorency Falls, which stand even taller than Niagara. You’ll return to your hotel in the evening. Overnight at Hoel Le Concorde.

Day 7
Ottawa
Today’s journey takes you west into Ontario’s capital, Ottawa, with a total drive time of about five and a half hours. You’ll break up the journey with a visit to a traditional sugar shack for lunch and a sweet maple syrup tasting. Once in Ottawa, you’ll enjoy a short orientation tour to get familiar with the city, then have the rest of the evening free.

Day 8
Ottawa
Take a tour of Ottawa. From the grand Parliament Buildings and the official residences of Canada’s leaders to the UNESCO-listed Rideau Canal, there’s plenty to take in. After that, the day is yours. You might explore the city’s excellent museums and galleries, take a boat cruise, or browse the shops along pedestrian-friendly Sparks Street. Whether you're after culture, scenery, or a slower pace, Ottawa has something to match your mood. Overnight at Delta Hotels by Marriot Ottawa City Centre.

Day 9
Huntsville
Leaving the city behind, you’ll head towards the lakes and forests of central Ontario. The drive to Huntsville takes around five hours, with a stop along the way at Algonquin Provincial Park. There, you’ll have time for a walk on one of the park’s marked trails, where you might spot chipmunks darting through the undergrowth. Algonquin is known for its dense pine forests, quiet lakes, and winding rivers, offering a real sense of the Canadian wilderness. By afternoon, you’ll reach the Muskoka town of Huntsville, a friendly spot with local shops, galleries, and a lakeside setting where you’ll settle in for the night. Overnight at Best Western Plus Muskoka Inn.

Day 10
Niagara Falls
The coach heads south, passing Toronto and continuing through the changing scenery of the Niagara Peninsula. City streets give way to open farmland, orchards, and neat rows of vineyards as you approach the region’s famous waterfalls. Once there, you’ll board a boat that takes you right to the base of the Horseshoe Falls, where the mist fills the air and you’re likely to get a little wet. After a quick dry-off, you’ll head up the Skylon Tower for sweeping views of the falls and surrounding countryside. If you're in the mood for more adventure, you could opt for a helicopter ride or take a spin on the Niagara SkyWheel. The evening is yours to explore the town as you like. Overnight at Hilton Hotel & Suites Fallsview.

Day 11
Toronto
It’s a 90-minute hop back to Toronto via Niagara-on-the-Lake to wrap things up. Back in the city, there’s a special farewell dinner in the CN Tower to end the trip on a high note. Overnight at Chelsea Hotel.

Day 12
Toronto & Departure
After an overnight stay, you’ll be heading off with some brilliant memories, a camera full of snaps, and possibly a cheeky bottle (or two) of maple syrup tucked in your bag.
