Days 1-3
Los Angeles
Your holiday begins in LA, where you can revel in your first blast of sunshine and ease into your trip, whether you want to tick off some LA must-sees or simply take a few days to relax and get into holiday mode.
Day 4
Overnight flight
Settle in for your overnight flight to Tahiti. You land early enough to continue straight on to Raiatea-Taha'a without losing any of the day.
Days 5-7
Raiatea-Taha'a
Arrive in Tahiti, connect to your short domestic flight, and then take a boat across the lagoon to Motu Tautau, home to Le Taha'a by Pearl Resorts. Your Pool Beach Villa gives you a quiet stretch of sand, privacy, and the soft sound of the lagoon right outside your terrace. You can walk the grounds of Taputapuatea, one of the most important cultural sites in the Pacific, glide along the Faaroa River in a kayak, explore the island’s fragrant vanilla plantations, or head inland for walks through shaded forest and hilltop lookouts. The lagoon is vast and calm, perfect for snorkelling and paddleboarding.
Day 8-11
Bora Bora
Return to Tahiti for your connecting flight to Bora Bora, followed by a lagoon transfer to your chosen resort. We've included a stay Le Bora Bora by Pearl Resorts where your Overwater Bungalow gives you direct access to the lagoon and wide-open views that shift colour throughout the day. There are other resorts available to choose from, but wherever you stay, life will be based around the lagoon, being on or by the water and just soaking up the paradise of it all.
Day 12
Tahiti
Fly back to Tahiti for your final night, to make tomorrow’s early departure easy. You may have time to explore Papeete’s central market for vanilla and local crafts or enjoy a simple dinner at one of the waterfront roulottes.
Extend your holiday
Seattle
If you’d like to add something extra to the trip, fly home via Seattle instead of returning through Los Angeles. A couple of days here offer a refreshing contrast with waterfront markets, leafy streets, ferry crossings, and panoramic views from the city’s hillside parks.
