Conrad Bora Bora Nui
Island glamour with extra sparkle
Bora Bora doesn’t get more cinematic than this private cove on Motu To’opua.
Off the southwest edge of Bora Bora, Conrad Bora Bora Nui sits on Motu To’opua, a private islet cradled between the calm lagoon and the open Pacific. Overwater villas arc into turquoise shallows, while hilltop suites look out across the reef toward Mount Otemanu. The dramatic infinity pool mirrors the sky, and the villas are vast enough to feel like private homes. The mood is relaxed yet refined. Afternoons might be spent paddleboarding with rays or sipping champagne at the beach club, and evenings slip from sashimi under banyan trees to cocktails in the sand. This is Bora Bora with its own rhythm — playful, social, and stylish.
Why we love Conrad Bora Bora Nui
-
The villas are some of the largest in Bora Bora, with overwater decks big enough for loungers, hammocks, and steps leading straight into the lagoon
-
The resort has its own private islet, Motu Tapu, which means you can take a five-minute boat ride and feel like you’ve borrowed your own island
-
Hina Spa perches on the hillside, tucked into volcanic rock, with sweeping views of the lagoon and Mount Otemanu for a real step‑away‑from‑the‑world moment
-
The infinity pool is a social hub, set right above the beach, with a soundtrack and energy that feels more chic beach club than hushed resort
Rooms
Rooms here aren’t really rooms, they’re more like private hideaways the size of small apartments. If you want the classic Bora Bora move, pick an overwater villa and slip straight into the lagoon from your deck. Hilltop suites are the choice if you like a sweeping view with your morning coffee and don’t mind a quick golf buggy ride home at night. Beach villas are the sweet spot for families or anyone who wants sand and shade right outside the door.
Facilities
Meals here are never just about what is on the plate. They’re about the view, the setting, and sometimes the soundtrack too. Breakfast is served with the sight of the lagoon waking up, while lunch might mean toes in the sand with a glass of chilled wine. Come evening, you can drift from sashimi under banyan trees to cocktails over the water, finishing with music and starlight.

The Hina Spa sits high on the hillside, framed by black volcanic rock and open views across the lagoon. Treatments draw on Polynesian tradition, but the vibe is modern retreat rather than rustic hideaway. Alongside the spa you’ll find a full fitness centre, yoga by the water, and the option to hike into the hills when you need a break from the sunbed.
The lagoon is your playground. You can drift on a paddleboard, snorkel with rays, or head out on jet skis if you want a faster pace. The dive team run trips to Bora Bora’s best coral gardens and outer reef, where shark encounters are a highlight. Visibility is famously clear, so even the short snorkel off the main beach is like watching a living documentary.
This hotel is undergoing some renovation works until June 2026 and will be closed between 19 Jan to 1 Apr 2026).
