 Pacific Resort Aitutaki

Letters from the Lagoon

An indulgent beachfront escape with breathtaking architecture, top-notch food and camera-ready views you’ll never forget.

If it’s a big slice of luxury that you’re after, this place serves it up in heaploads. It’s perfectly positioned on the west coast of Aitutaki, with jaw-slacking views that stretch on forever. Feast your eyes on sparkling ocean horizons, lush mountainscapes and spectacular sunsets beyond your wildest dreams. The scenery here certainly wears the crown, but the rest of the resort is every bit as impressive. It’s packed to the rafters with considered touches, and the elegance inside perfectly mirrors those eye-popping vistas. You’ll be in no rush for a change of setting, but if you do feel like venturing out, there’s no shortage of things to see and do (and all within easy reach.) You’ll also enjoy a fantastic food offering, artisanally-crafted cocktails and plenty of warming home comforts.

Why we love Pacific Resort Aitutaki

  • There are only 29 bungalows and villas here, giving it an authentically exclusive appeal.

  • The food at this place is incredible, serving a selection of international cuisines edged with a delicious Pacific twist.

  • Arutanga is only a five-minute drive away, so there’s plenty to see, do and explore, and all within easy reach.

  • All of the bungalows and villas offer views of the Aitutaki lagoon, and many of them have private decks and verandas, too!

The food scene here feels just as exclusive as the resort itself, with a choice of two swanky bars and restaurants ready and waiting to satisfy your cravings. Get your fine dining fix at Rapae Bay Restaurant, or, if you’ve got the taste for something sweet and zesty, Black Rock Bar packs a punch with sips to please every palate.

Rapae Bay Restaurant

There might only be one eatery at the Pacific, but take it from us, Rapae Bay Restaurant leaves absolutely nothing to want for (except for seconds, maybe.) The indoor-outdoor setup gives this place an easy-breezy vibe that’s friendly and unpretentious - perfect for kicking back and indulging your senses. As for the menu itself, you’re in for a treat. Expect fine flavours from morning till night, with an offering of freshly-prepped international dishes tailored to every palate.

Black Rock Bar

A mesmersing ocean outlook and a menu of tastebud-tingling sips make Black Rock Bar the place to be al fresco sips. Choose your tipple and make a beeline for the pool, or stay right where you are and ‘cheers’ to that wow-worthy panorama.

What's Included

Breakfast at Rapae Bay Restaurant

Sometimes, all you need is a little preen and a pamper, and the Tiare Spa is your go-to destination for exactly that. Choose from a menu of luxurious treatments and indulge in a well-deserved spot of R&R. For the ultimate glow-up, double up with a pore-perfecting facial and a fresh mani. A muscle-melting massage is an absolute must if you’re looking to relieve built-up tension, or if you want your skin to look (and feel) as good as new, the body scrub ritual will leave you soft and polished from top-to-toe. If you’re here with your other half, the couple’s treatments are ideal, and if you’re pregnant, there’s an exclusive massage for the mums-to-be.

Adventurous types will jump at the chance to show off their wild side - but you don’t have to be an adrenaline junkie to enjoy these watersports. Kitesurfing is guaranteed to unlock your inner thrill-seeker, all whilst granting a unique and exhilarating way to admire the island. The Aquatic Eco Trail, on the other hand, is all about diving in and discovering the magnificent marine life.

Children over 12 are welcome at this resort.

The grounds are steep in parts and rooms nearer the lagoon are further from the main hotel, so may not be suitable for people with walking difficulties.
