 Sariska Safari Lodge

A rural retreat

Sariska Safari Lodge is a remote, rural lodge with acres of lawn and forest to roam.

Sariska’s success lies in its location in the heart of the Golden Triangle. It’s a two-hour drive from Delhi and three-and-a-half hours from Agra where you’ll feel the vibe instantly change after days of cultural adventure. The expansive courtyard is the beating heart of the property where you sit out for breakfast in the morning light and enjoy dinners by the firepit. Aside from swimming, yoga on the deck is a welcome activity after days of exploring. The Sariska area offers the thrill of jungle safaris. Private game drives delve into the wilderness for around three hours exploring the luscious forest, jade-coloured streams and sculpture-like rockscape with a guide who can interpret the landscape and animal behaviour. Other than tigers, there are leopards – Sariska has the second highest population in India for leopards with 273 – as well as nilgai antelope, chital and peafowl.

Why we love Sariska Safari Lodge

  • Sariska is ideal for repeat visitors to India or for those wishing to get off the beaten track

  • Go in search of tigers and leopards in Sariska National Park

  • Hike in the surrounding hills and you may come across ruined palaces

  • This is a great place to try lal maas, a delicious spicy marinated lamb dish and signature dish of Rajasthan
