After a night on the coast, your family adventure begins in the Drakensberg where you can take in the fresh mountain air on foot or bike. Take a history lesson about the Anglo-Boer War battles that occurred here. Next stop is on safari where children will be amazed when they see their first animal in their natural environment. The accommodation we have chosen welcomes families and each has a two-bedroomed family cottage. We would recommend this itinerary for children over 8 years as some of the drives can be long, however there is always something to see when you travel along the roads in South Africa so expect lots of questions and perhaps a challenging game of Eye Spy.
