Loved our Stay
We stayed in the lux OF jr suite, rm was spacious, comfortable, bath adeq size, spent hrs on the priv balcony watching the ocean & sea turtles pass, sun loungers @beach had adj shades & comfy cushions, loved coming out swimming & getting a refreshing scoop of ice cream, so yum ,or ask if you would like a spritz of cooling eucalyptus mist, normally do not do AI & really was surprised on how good all the food was the buffets have various items to choose for breakfast & lunch, you can also do lunch @restaurant near pool which is made to order food, if you like alcohol then you will be happy with AI. Dinners are made by reserv in am for different restaurants & honestly the food was outstanding. Nightly music was great! Had fun playing bingo & was so close to winning a wknd stay, sadly I did not win :( My only con would be the random town people that approach you on the beach while you're relaxing /sleeping & ask u if you want a foot massage or some aloe, when u politely decline they ask again & get mad & walk away, a woman was like 90 yrs old asking to massage ur feet, gosh. I know the resort is not at fault because it is a public beach. Just was not to thrilled being woken up from a siesta & asked . If I wanted services I would inquire within the resort & then worrying if I go in for a swim that my phone will be taken out of my bag cuz they are sitting up behind our chairs against the wall. That is the only con, I would highly recommend, we got a great price & loved everything!
Stayed in sea breeze for 5 days but sorry it was not longer . Room was beautiful, food in restaurants had lots of choice each evening . Staff were always pleasant and helpful, they arranged trips from hotel no problem. Drinks were all good quality and evening entertainment was very good . Set in a perfect location, beautiful beach with plenty of sun loungers. All in all we could not of asked for more
Will have to revisit
We arrived at the start of the corona epidemic. The hotel is in an amazing location - right on the beach. Unfortunately 2 days after we arrived all entertainment was stopped so we feel quite hard done by but certainly no fault of the hotel and totally understandable in the circumstances. Serveral the staff were quite offhand and this could be because they were concerned as to what was going to happen. We were brought home a week early as the hotel was closing. However most of the staff were fantastic -Peggy would be an asset at any hotel and the lady manning the Mahogany bar on the Sat event was amazing despite the fact it was her last shift. By Saturday there was 1 bar and 1 restaurant open so we really have not experienced the best. We will just have to go back!!
Family holiday to Barbados
We have wanted to go to Barbados for some time and we found a fantastic deal to the Sea Breeze Beach House. I am so pleased that we booked it! This boutique style hotel is set on the most stunning stretch of beach. It was breathtaking. We were extremely lucky with the weather. Our room was big enough for the 4 of us, clean and modern. There was no bath so bear that in mind if that bothers you. I requested a ground floor room and it was steps away from the sand it was perfect. The rum shack - oh the rum shack. It is such a nice addition to the hotel. It's so authentic we loved it. The also made this sweet bread/cake which was delicious. The food was nice. I've had better. Breakfast was okay - not as much choice as you get in European hotels. Coffee was poor. Our kids were 4 and 1 and the kids club wasnt great. We went outside of school holidays and it only seems to properly operate during school holidays. We went in a few times to have a break from the sun but there were no activities set out. Definately dont choose this hotel for the kids club. Pools were lovely especially the adult only pool. The evening entertainment was nice. The staff were lovely - service was very slow but I think that's just because its Barbados and they like to take things slow. Lovely hotel on a gorgeous stretch of Beach. We would return but not with young kids - it would be nice for them to have more entertainment.
Fantastic holiday and weddimg
We stayed at the amazing hotel 9th March for two weeks, we had our wedding here to. The hotel is lovely. Three pools, one adult only. Which with children we didnt go to. Plenty of sun lounges at pool and beach. Beach is the lovely white beach that you expect on a Caribbean island. The food was amazing. Three restaurants to choose from. Not all open every night but didnt need to be. Food never disappointed. Entertainment we cannot comment on as the kids were done in by 8PM. Although we did see the sunday night dancers and limbo person. Kids enjoyed that. The wedding was perfect. Alot of communication before we arrived to ensure all was in place. Taken to the ministry. Quick and easy. Wedding day came. Hairdressers was late as expierenced a flat tire but I was informed. The ceremony was perfect. The cake was lovely. Thank you Matthew. I would highly recommend getting married here. After reading negative comments on the staff been rude. I was a little worried. However had no need to be they was all lovely and many going above and beyond with the kids. I'm not very good with names. But joanna, marcia and a lady whose name starter with a 'R' showed us how to do some of the napkins :) We was here when the covid 19 pandemic spread across the world. So we experienced some changes in the service to meet regulations but the staff continued to make a lovely holiday despite the fact that we guests were down to double figures and they wasnt having anymore come in and would be out of work. It was sad watching them pack away. Hope for you all to be back up and giving great service soon.
