Charming and relaxing
We stayed 2 nights at Little Good Harbour at the end of our trip to the island and had a very relaxing time. The location by the beach is delightful, the property overall is charming and the little cottage we had was lovely - beautifully but simply decorated and comfortable, enjoying a partial view of the sea. The main swimming pool was generally a relaxing place to while away some time and the service at the little spa was excellent (as were the treatments). It was only a shame that there wasn't any service around the pool - cold drinks would have been appreciated! We ate both evenings and mornings (and also one lunch) at the Fish Pot restaurant across the road. The food was excellent every time but the service tended to be very slow.
So comfy beds
We stayed a little go to harbour after eating at the fish part two years ago,the location is stunning, accommodation is good, the beds are very comfy. The only downside for me was the water, it says you can drink it which I did it was brownish and I have been very ill after it, I mentioned it to the staff who just said they wouldn’t drink it, surely if the staff won’t drink water then bottled water should be provided, it has ruined 5 days of my holiday, would I go back again….No.
A perfect Gem
We just spent 9 days at this beautiful small hotel. It is the most perfect place. The staff are fantastic, great food. Lovely beach with great snorkelling. Wonder little cottages to stay in. The owner Andrew is very hands on and runs this brilliant place so efficiently. Best small hotel in the world. We will be back! Frances and Stuart.
Graham and Trevor - hats off to you both for elevating our vacation to extraordinary heights by de-escalating our travel issues. A quaint hotel with lovely private pool and quiet beach. Total relaxation. Namaste!
Outstandingly helpful Manager and staff in extreme circumstances
Beautiful rooms, location, restaurant and most of all outstanding staff and Management. I had been ill before we left the UK and was taking antibiotics. My illness escalated on arrival in Barbados not helped by me leaving a bag with money, phone, passport, medication and tickets in the taxi from the airport. The duty manager took control of the crisis ( I felt too ill), tracked down the actual cab, the driver and then arranged my bag to be collected the following day- relief! I needed medical attention and the General Manager stepped in, organised car hire for us, recommended a clinic and phoned to arrange an appointment. To cut a long story short I was taken by private ambulance from the clinic to A&E and spent the next 7 days in Barbados General Hospital. Having got a fit to fly cert. from the Consultant the Hotel Manager organised a taxi and wheelchair to the airport and provided help and guidance to my wife who was travelling daily back and forth to the hospital to visit me and organise our health insurance claim. Even the wonderful cleaners stopped to ask after me on my brief return from hospital saying they were praying for me to return to health. Fantastic people and so kind and supportive in these very worrying circumstances. Still managed a couple of meals in the fabulous restaurant with my wife, putting on a brave face....... All well now having been hospitalised on my return to the UK and now “fixed’’ and I will never forget the genuine care and compassion from all staff and management at Little Good Harbour. Thank you all!
