Star Clippers
Discovering the world on one of Star Clippers’ tall ships is a totally different way of cruising, combining the timeless romance of sailing and traditional onboard facilities. The three beautiful ships – Star Clipper, Star Flyer and Royal Clipper – sail between the islands of the Caribbean, Thailand and Indonesia, and from port to port in the Mediterranean. Enjoy fantastic dining as part of your full-board package.

Star Clipper

Royal Clipper’s smaller sister ship, Star Clipper, is just as impressive. With four tall masts and that traditional tall ship look, she cuts a striking figure when anchored off the coast of a Thai island or making way under full sail. While it feels like you’ve stepped back in time as the sails are raised as you leave port each day, the ship was actually built in the late 20th Century so it’s kitted out for more modern travellers – there are two small plunge pools on the Sun Deck and when the weather’s nice there are watersports like kayaking, snorkelling, water skiing and windsurfing on offer. Inside, the style is reflective of the heyday of tall ship travel – think nautical elements, mahogany touches and classic seafaring artworks and brass porthole windows.

Our suggested cabin: Tall ship cabins have a traditional nautical feel. We’ve chosen an Outside Cabin which has a porthole, private bathroom with shower and twin beds.
