Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa

A picture-perfect tropical paradise

This scenic cluster of Seychellois villas perched on stilts offers the best views of Beau Vallon bay.

Jungle meets the sea on the picturesque peninsula at the northern tip of Mahé. It's here, overlooking Beau Vallon bay, that you’ll find Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa. A cluster of thatched villas tumbles down the hillside to the jade-coloured waters below, framed by huge granite boulders and tropical foliage – it’s easy to see why this spot was a favoured haunt of James Bond author Ian Fleming.

Why we love Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa

  • All of the spacious villas have stunning panoramas from the terrace, but the best have a private pool with a view too

  • It feels wonderfully remote, but it’s actually well placed for both exploring Mahé and hopping to some of the other islands

  • The three restaurants offer plenty of variety, from poke bowls to Creole-style seafood and signature cocktails

  • Couples looking for a tranquil grown-up getaway will appreciate the over-13s-only guest policy

Breathtaking views paired with authentic Creole flavours is the recipe for success at the resort’s three restaurants.

Mahe
The day starts at Mahe, where à la carte breakfast comes with glorious ocean views and a light sea breeze. At dinner, themed nights take you on a culinary journey around the globe, from Creole barbecue and Mediterranean plates to Asian-influenced cuisine and Indian dishes.

Wave
The shimmering water provides the same backdrop to Wave, a tranquil venue where healthy, eco-friendly dishes are served à la carte for lunch and dinner.

Oceanview Bar and Restaurant
Grab a seat on the split-level decked balcony of this casual spot for views of the cove-dotted coastline and a menu of light bites, tropical cocktails and live music three nights a week.

The best spot to take in the postcard-pretty vistas is the pop-up Lower Deck gin bar; watch the sun go out in a fiery blaze, cocktail in hand.

What's included

Breakfast at Mahe Restaurant.

Upgrade options

Half Board • Breakfast at Mahe and dinner at Mahe or Wave
Full Board • Breakfast at Mahe, lunch at Wave Restaurant and dinner at Mahe or Wave.

At the boutique Eforea Spa, whose treatment rooms overlook the sea, you can enjoy a range of relaxing, skin-soothing experiences. Unwind in the steam room before sampling something from the spa menu: an age-defying Elemis facial, perhaps, or a ritual that focuses on the finest locally sourced natural ingredients. Yoga sessions are held in an ocean-view pavilion. There is a fitness centre equipped with state-of-the-art weight machines.

Complimentary snorkelling equipment, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards are available for those who want to get out into the lagoon.

The resort is working with the Marine Conservation Society on projects to support the island’s fragile coral reefs. It is part of Diversey’s Soap for Hope programme, where unused soap is recycled and donated to the local community. Solar panels are used to generate the hot water for the guest villas and the spa. There’s a monthly Sustainable Day when guests are encouraged to take part in activities such as beach cleans.

Guests over 13 are welcome at this resort.

Compulsory Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve gala dinners.

Call or see online for applicable dates.
