Absolutely wonderful stay
This hotel is wonderful. I love the Indochine style and the story behind it. The service is amazing. The staff were very kind and thoughtful. I love every minute of my stay and definitely will be back.
Living museum on the beach
I had an incredible stay with La Veranda, at first I choose this property for its top location and the fact that it’s managed by Accor. I particularly enjoyed the story of Madame Catherine, the owner of La Veranda resort, who built the hotel as her retirement beach house. As soon as the hotel car pulls at the open-air reception, you step into the romantic era of French Indochina when life was more refined and less hurried. The hotel is a living museum filled with antiques and art objects, I spent hours wandering through the book shelves, tastefully decorated corridors and recreation areas. The hotel offers a saltwater pool and a nice beach area, the sea is just steps away from your room. I especially enjoyed lush gardens, warm and friendly service and incredibly tasty food prepared by award-winning chef. As a vegan I was really impressed with the variety of dishes I could have, some of them where prepared on demand. Considering that the hotel was built in 2006, it’s in mint condition, highly recommend it to history buffs, coupled and families.
Charming colonial property on the beach
I stayed here recently and, from the drive down the small lane, to the entrance to the resort from the reception area, the whole experience was one of pleasant surprise. The staff who great you at reception were completely welcoming, friendly and professional. The room we had, with its sea view balcony, was perfectly comfortable and convenient. The food and drinks were top class, including the beach dinner for myself and my wife. The grounds were immaculate and give a feel of taking a gentle stroll through a country retreat. The whole resort, with its colonial style and attention to fine detail, has an aura of comfort, relaxation and 'me time' pampering. Because of the location, the beach front has a simply stunning sunset view that is perfect to round off your day. I most definitely will, and look forward to, visiting again when I am on Phu Quoc.
A memorable journey
Staying at La Veranda brought me back to the Indochine time. Everthing was so quiet and peaceful. I specifically enjoyed the therapist service there. He was so passionate about his job and he shared great stories about staying healthy.
A very beautiful, charming, centrally located resort with good and very friendly service
I highly recommend La Veranda to anyone who wants to have relaxing and convenient holidays with their family and friends. The resort is so charming with a lot of green trees and beautiful flowers, reminding me very much of "The Lover" of Duras, of the mysterious, yet naive and charming Indochina. You could feel the resort owner' love for her La Veranda with every details of the interior decoration taken care to their best. The room is spacious and clean. The amenities are of the best quality. The resort is quiet and peaceful and has its own private beach which is really a privilege given its very central location. My husband and I stayed there for 4 nights and we were so grateful for the good service of the staff, especially the young and beautiful Filipino girl working at the front desk. She is an angel. Love the resort and will definitely come back
