Hotel Zachary, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel

You don’t have to be into baseball to appreciate the chic décor and unstuffy ambiance of this boutique hotel. It does overlook the legendary Wrigley Field however, so if you are a fan of the sport, you’ve hit a home run already by making it your pick.

The modern aesthetic of Hotel Zachary is inspired by Wrigley Field architect Zachary Taylor Davies, who designed the historic baseball field for the Chicago Cubs. Black and white portraits of Davis and memorabilia including renderings of the historical field pepper the walls and the team’s colours are echoed in the 173 warm and contemporary rooms, where pops of the Cubs’ classic blue complement apricot walls, ivy-green headboards, pin-striped carpeting and honey-hued wingback chairs.
