Great location for a peaceful break. Staff are all excellent, nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast buffet style with plenty of choice. Evening meal was eaten watching the sunset. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool and by the beach. 15 minute walk to the local bars and shops. If want lots to do and a busy night life, then this isn't for you
My wife and I have just returned from a holiday here (15th to 22nd June 2019). The hotel and staff were simply perfect. If you want an exciting time though I'd advise that you look elsewhere - this is for people who want to chill out; it's a quiet hotel in a quiet spot. We went half board and the breakfast and dinner were both brilliant. The dinner was waiter-served, restaurant quality, served by staff who just couldn't do enough for you. It was service with a smile all the way. A special mention must go to Vincenzo, the restaurant manager, and his right-hand man, Fabrizio, and mustn't forget Cinzia. They were all absolutely brilliant. The setting was lovely too, overlooking the bay with the sun setting before your eyes every night. Couldn't recommend this hotel more for those who want a relaxing holiday.
A Hidden Gem
We have just spent 10 days at this lovely hotel, it is very quiet so only come here if you wish to chill out completely. Staff are great, food is excellent, views are to die for, especially the sunsets, nothing is too much trouble for the staff. If you want nightlife and lots of things to do then this not for you although there are boat trips to enjoy and excursions can be arranged but we preferred to enjoy the hotel and the small village of Baia Sardinia which is a fairly demanding 10 minute walk away but has some nice restaurants and bars. A thoroughly enjoyable holiday, we would certainly return
Peace and quiet
A great week in the Tremonti Suite. This is a small hotel with a calm and peaceful ambience. Our room was brand new and very spacious with a large outside terrace. Most of the rooms/suites are housed in stone buildings in the grounds but ours was in the main building, which was better for me with mobility problems. The swimming pool was a good size and there were sufficient sunbeds and seating. I found it difficult getting in and out via the steps which had no hand rail. A metal ladder directly into the water would be a huge improvement. We only went to the beach once as it was very windy for most of the week. Plenty more sunbeds down there on an extensive grassy area behind the sand. There was a beach shack there selling drinks but no snacks. A staff member took us to the beach in a golf cart. The main hotel bar was adjacent to the pool and staffed all day. The drinks menu was extensive and included some wonderful cocktails. We had several light lunches which were extremely tasty and beautifully presented. So the pool was a great area to spend a truly relaxing day with no music to detract from the wonderful peace and tranquillity. And now, I must mention the staff, who were all brilliant. The restaurant manager, Vincenzo was an absolute charmer, so friendly and polite but in a completely natural and unstuffy way. His restaurant staff were so pleasant and smiley and were always there to help. We didn't go for the half board option but it seemed to be very popular. The reception staff and the bar staff were equally helpful and the cocktails were superb! In the evening there was a pianist/singer in the bar. He had a good repertoire of songs but I think he was just a little too loud. All in all this was a fabulous week and we certainly hope to return.
Beautiful resort with excellent service, tranquil with amazing views. Very clean and well kept, fantastic pool.
For the two of us this was an amazing experience. The hotel had panoramic views and was perfectly positioned for the sunset. The staff were impeccable most speaking multiple languages. The public beach and many of tiny beaches are a 5-10 min walk. The hotel beach is lovely to sunbath but you can’t swim because of the rocks. It’s a 15 min walk into Baja Sardinia which is small but has a number of small bars and restaurants.
