1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge could wax lyrical about its gorgeously appointed guestrooms (all luxe mahogany, glass, and marble), superb restaurants (quite the celeb-spotting scene), and that sensational L-shaped pool (a picture paints a thousand words). But it’s just as proud of its stellar sustainability credentials. It would be remiss not to mention the hotel’s excellent location. If it were any other hotel on this spot, it would be its greatest asset. At the Dumbo end of Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan is a brisk walk or cycle over the East River. But there’s so much this side of the river, you’ll be forgiven for not making it over the water. Stroll the tree-lined streets of Brooklyn Heights, or for an edgier scene, explore Williamsburg.
