Aegean Suites

Find your inner peace in this grown-up hillside hideaway

Offering the feel of a stylish villa with five-star service thrown in, this all-suite bolthole is made for relaxing getaways

Aegean Suites Skiathos is made for those times when what you really need is lazy days by a pool, a terrace from where you can gaze out over a cobalt sea and summery meals bursting with flavour. In this intimate adult-only property (minimum age 16 years), tranquillity is the order of the day. You’ll love its restful charm, created by everything from its classic Mediterranean looks to the serenity-inducing views across the Aegean and the warm, unobtrusive service. You could spend hours doing nothing more energetic than catching up on your sleep and book list on a duvet-soft lounger, with occasional dips in fresh or salt water – it’s only a few metres to a quiet beach. Should you wish to explore further, though, Skiathos Town is within walking distance and there’s a handy bus stop just beyond the walls that makes exploring the rest of the island a breeze.

Why we love Aegean Suites

  • It feels beautifully tucked away, but you can walk into Skiathos Town in around 20 minutes or hop on a bus at the nearby stop

  • There’s a timeless quality to the architecture and the interior design – think terracotta tiles, whitewashed walls and dark wood accents

  • From salads and club sandwiches at lunchtime to sophisticated Mediterranean cuisine in the evening, the food hits all the right notes

  • The stone-paved pool area, with its well-padded sunbeds, Aegean Sea views and colourful planting, is somewhere you’ll want to linger

With a restaurant, a pool bar with an all-day food menu and 24-hour room service – plus Skiathos Town a short stroll away – there’s plenty of variety on the dining front.

Pelagos
Enjoy breakfast and (candlelit) dinner gazing out over the Aegean from the terrace of the cosy main restaurant, which serves refined Mediterranean cuisine.

Karavia Pool Bar
It’s not far from your poolside lounger to the all-day bar, where you can have anything from an expertly mixed smoothie or cocktail to a light lunch.

There’s something very appealing about al fresco breakfasts overlooking the sea at Pelagos, especially with a platter of sun-ripened fruit in front of you.

What's included

Breakfast at Pelagos

There’s a treatment room with a short menu of massages, facials and the like, and guests can also use the larger spa at sister property Princess Resort (shuttle service available).

A compact fitness room has cardio equipment and weights, but you may prefer to stretch your legs on one of the island’s many hiking trails with a guided or self-guided walk.

There’s a charming outdoor pool fringed with cushioned loungers and mature trees and a small, pretty beach just across the road. Watersports including a Dive Experience and paddleboarding are available at Princess Resort.

At Aegean Suites, the rooms are cleaned with eco-friendly products, the lighting is energy efficient and controlled by timers, there are solar panels to heat the water and wastewater is used to irrigate the gardens. In addition, the group of which the hotel is part supports local good causes such as Skiathos Hospital.
