A city landmark with lavish 1950s-inspired interiors, four restaurants, and a two-floor spa in central Casablanca.
Royal Mansour Casablanca starts with flowers by the armful. Vast arrangements rise from marble tables in the lobby, a large aquarium glows nearby, and a shoal of 600 Bohemian-crystal fish hangs overhead. It’s distractingly beautiful, so don’t forget to check in! The hotel on this site first opened in 1953. Now part of the Royal Mansour collection, it reopened in 2024 after an eight-year reconstruction. Curved furniture, inlaid woods, richly veined marble, and flashes of mustard, olive, cinnamon, and burnt orange bring the period into the present. Four restaurants make dinner a decision. There’s French cooking at La Brasserie, Japanese food at Le Sushi Bar, Moroccan menus and city views at La Grande Table Marocaine, and Mediterranean cooking with Middle Eastern, Italian, and Asian influences at Le Rooftop. The 2,510m² spa spans two floors, with two hammams, seven treatment rooms, and a counter-current pool.
Why we love Royal Mansour Casablanca
-
Even the entry-level Deluxe Rooms are 55m². Step up to a Premier Room for more space, or choose a Corner Room for views towards Hassan II Mosque.
-
Four restaurants take you from Éric Frechon’s French cooking to sushi and omakase by Keiji Matoba, with Moroccan food and city views on the 23rd floor.
-
The vast spa has two hammams, seven treatment rooms, a private Spa Suite, a plunge pool, and a hair and beauty salon.
-
The central Sidi Belyout address keeps you close to Casablanca’s port, Old Medina, and Art Deco centre. From selected higher rooms and suites, you can see towards Hassan II Mosque and the Atlantic.
Rooms
Royal Mansour Casablanca has 149 rooms and suites across 13 categories, and space is generous from the start. Deluxe Rooms begin at 55m², while 70m² Premier Rooms give you even more room. Corner Rooms trade some of that extra floor space for views towards Hassan II Mosque. Junior and Executive Suites add separate living areas. Higher in the building, individually themed Signature Suites take inspiration from music, literature, fashion, and cinema. Four exceptional suites occupy the upper floors, culminating in the four-bedroom Royal Suite.
Facilities
Four restaurants take very different approaches and dining is a big part of the experience here, with serious chefs, destination restaurants, and plenty of variety without losing the sense of place. French, Japanese, Moroccan, and Mediterranean influences all feature, with everything from formal dinners to rooftop drinks and lighter bites.
La Brasserie
Éric Frechon’s French brasserie serves breakfast, lunch, afternoon treats, and dinner. Expect recognisable French dishes handled with plenty of precision rather than unnecessary fuss.
Le Sushi Bar
Chef Keiji Matoba prepares sushi, sashimi, tempura, and omakase menus beneath a sculptural cherry-blossom chandelier.
La Grande Table Marocaine
Moroccan cooking by chef Karim Ben Baba on the 23rd floor, with views across the city towards Hassan II Mosque and the Atlantic.
Le Rooftop
A high-floor restaurant and cocktail bar combining Middle Eastern, Italian, and Asian influences in a Mediterranean menu. The terrace looks across Casablanca, and evenings bring music alongside the skyline.
The Bar
A 1950s-inspired bar for cocktails and lighter food, with a concealed cigar bar reached by a spiral staircase below.
The spa covers 2,510m² across the hotel’s fourth and fifth floors. White marble sets the scene for seven treatment rooms, two hammams, a private Spa Suite, relaxation areas, a hair and beauty salon, and a fitness centre. Treatments range from Moroccan hammam rituals and body scrubs to massages, facials, and reflexology. Yoga, Pilates, personal training, and other coached sessions are also available. The spa has a 29°C counter-current pool rather than a conventional hotel swimming pool. Adjust the current for a short swim, then dial it back for recovery and relaxation.
Royal Mansour Casablanca holds HQE, BREEAM, and LEED environmental building certifications. Across the Royal Mansour collection, measures include low-emissivity glazing, energy recovery from ventilation, LED lighting, motion detectors, water-saving fittings, selective waste sorting, and organic-waste composting.
Connecting Deluxe and Corner Rooms can be requested, while Junior and Executive Suites sleep up to three. Two-bedroom Signature and exceptional suites accommodate larger families. There isn’t a conventional leisure pool, so this hotel is better suited to families coming to Casablanca for the city rather than lots of pool time.
