Wonderful relaxing holiday.
Just returned from 14 days holiday at this hotel. Never been to Mauritius before so did not know what to expect. Wonderful holiday we have two children 8 and 5 the pools are perfect for them we had to drag them out of the pool each day! Staff were very good, helpful and always polite special mention to Yeshven ,I may have spelt the name . wrongly, the pool bar waiter who was so attentive kind and helpful, Celine and the other kids club staff who were so lovely with our children. Kevin with the mirror glasses, the Kayak instructor who took the time to teach me and my little boy how to paddle board, they really went out of their way to make our holiday. We had a lovely time so much so we are going to return next february. We hired a car for three days and drove around the Island and it was lovely. We have found another little gem . The Ravenal was perfect for us. Yes you can always something negative to say on a holiday but why look for the bad things when there are so may good things. Thank you for a lovely time. Travelled with virgin holidays. Flights with BA which were not the best flights to be honest but hey ho. Thanks Ravenala for a wonderful time. See you soon.
Best Sushi Ever
We spent a long weekend at the Ravenala Attitude and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of service and great food. Thank you Chef Nitish for the delicious Sushi and waiter Mr Avishek for his genuine service and smile 😁 at Lime restaurant! We will definitely come back 👍💯 Thank you Mrs Kusum for your hospitality at the main bar. 🥃 Thank you Mr Atish for your cocktails and service at the beach bar. 🍹
Beautiful family holiday
We have just returned from 1 week at Ravenala Attitude with our 3 kids (12, 9 and 6). We were so impressed with this hotel and really well looked after by each and every one of the staff! We arrived at the hotel around 9am, pretty weary from the long journey and were greeted by cold drinks, towels and a swift check in process. Our room was a family suite with a main bed, separated by a screen door and a lounge area with 3 single beds. The bathroom was big and the room was modern, clean and quiet. We were all inclusive so could fill the mini bar with beers, local snacks and waters. Our room was a short 2 minute walk to the main resort and pools/beach area and right near the river. The pools. Were beautiful! The perfect temperature, clean, lots of loungers and umbrellas, clean and well attended by the very hard working waiters. Their service was excellent and a great selection of drinks and food on offer to enjoy by the pool. The pools were great for young kids with zero entry and a separate baby pool. It was also really close to the beach. I suppose compared to some of the other parts of the island the beach is smaller and stonier than others. The water was clear but just murky occasionally due to the river nearby. We are not really beach people so spent most of the time at the pool! You can walk to a public beach nearby which is clearer and sandier. Water sports. The water sports crew were really helpful and we went out on the complimentary snorkelling and glass bottom Boat trip with Captain Joe. It was great-all equipment provided and we spent 20 minutes in the water! We even saw a turtle!! We also used the paddle boards, kayaks and pedals. We did book a boat trip to snorkel with the turtles near Trou aux Birches which was well Worth it! 7 or 8 turtles, crystal clear waters and an unforgettable experience! The food. There was so much choice!! In some all inclusive you’re often confined to a single buffet with one or two restaurants but this is not the case at Ravenala. We are in a different one every night!! Our kids loved trying local foods rather than the usual chips and nuggets! Madam Ming and Bistro were excellent. No issues booking but we booked early for the kids and booked all at the start of the holiday. The only negative was that there was a shortage of snacks-no ice creams or crisps etc that I think would’ve been a nice addition. The lunchtime snack shacks were incredible!!! We loved the chicken roti and noodles and dim sum, a really great snack lunch alternative if you didn’t fancy anything formal. The entertainment staff and kids facilities were fabulous. Our three boys were entertained with volleyball, boules, games of uno, basketball, fishing, discos, local dance displays! There was always something going on for them so we could relax with a cocktail! Overall we were really impressed with everything and everyone at Ravenala. It was small but had lots to offer and we left feeling very relaxed and looked after! Thank you!!

Great value for money
Wife and I stayed for two weeks, full board. And we really enjoyed our stay. On the positive side was the very friendly, cheerful and helpful staff. Also the selection of restaurants on the premises were much appreciated. Special shout out to Sheila and Selvi who worked the luncheon street food carts! Delicious food and just so friendly and kind. Also a shout out to Shahem at the pool - running for our poolside drinks, always with a smile and jokes. On the negative side was the beach. Essentially only in the shade, water was not clear at all and it just felt not so clean. However - across the little river was a fabulous beach with fantastic water and snorkling. But no services since the beach belongs to another hotel undergoing renovation.
