Restaurants & bars

Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa has four restaurants which range from casual to fine dining. The main restaurant is Aqua where you can enjoy a buffet breakfast and dinner; the cuisine here is inspired by tastes from around the world and there are open cooking stations where you can watch the chefs at work. For chilled out lunches and dinner under the stars, head to the part open-air and part al fresco Beach Club Grill Restaurant, which is located on the main beach. The dishes here include seafood, meat and vegetables cooked to perfection on a stone grill. As you might expect from an Italian-run resort, there’s also a pizza and pasta station at this toes-in-the-sand restaurant.

The island is home to the rustic Amazònico Restaurant – one of the few restaurants in the country that focuses on Central and South American cuisine. Wonderfully marinated meats are cooked over hot coals in the open kitchen at the heart of the open-air venue and served at your table straight from the skewer. Le Asiatique Restaurant is the island’s fine dining eatery and where you can enjoy the tastes of Asia. For a fun night and interactive meal, take a seat at the Teppanyaki grill and watch the chefs put on a show as they create your meal.

With comfy seat and shaded spots, the sand-floored Sunset Pool Café is great place to spend some time sipping on a refreshing drink or playing a bit of pool. As part of the Premium All Inclusive package many of the premium brand drinks are free-flowing (by the glass) so you can sample plenty of the cocktails, wine varieties and spirits throughout your holiday.

Spa & wellness

Bali’s thatch-roofed spas are the inspiration behind the Emerald Spa. It’s hidden away in the island’s verdant interior and is surrounded by tropical palms; you’ll feel miles away from the rest of the world. We highly recommend treating yourself to one of the Ayurveda-inspired treatments like the Asian head massage or the Abhyanga massage where medicated herbal oils are used to aid sleep and reduce stress.

For Children

Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa is a haven for families seeking some down time. The Family Beach Villas with pool are the go-to villas as they have a master bedroom and a second bedroom with twin beds. They’re just a few steps from the white-sand beach and feature a cooling plunge pool on the terrace. Children between the ages of 4 and 12 can make the most of the Dolphin Kids’ Club. The club has both indoor and outdoor areas, a pool and a kids’ restaurant and there are plenty of activities on offer.
