Poor Choice for a Great Brand - Jumeriah
We stayed here for two nights from 22-24th Jan 2021. We live in Dubai but it was our honey moon what with Covid situation. We made a reservation at the Indian restaurant and when we arrived to be seated they informed us that they could only give us a table outside (in the middle of winter with strong winds with sand!!). Whilst we appreciate that COVID changes are enforced at last minute, at no point did the restaurant call us to inform us of the new restrictions, with meant that inside tables were not available. Very poor service for a brand like Jumeriah. After complaining and waiting for 20mins, the on duty manager informed us we would need to wait further, offering us two complimentary glasses of red wine . We explained that we were actually on our honeymoon and suggested that by this point our meal should be 'on the house'. The manager said that would not be possible. Given the time waiting and the late hour, we went back to our room. We did get a phone call from the operations manger, who had been informed of the issue. He did provide room service on the house and a late check out. However, this could have all been avoided at the onset, if we had been contacted during the day to give us the option of dining outside of the hotel, given the changes issued from the government.
Very bad bed and pillow, service, bad experience ever not good..............
Honestly sorry to say but never ever coming back to this hotel..... One bottle watter 100 uae, bed was like old and service was very verx bad. I hope you can take this as a feedback and opportunity to tmake thinfs bettrr
Fantastic service from ibrar quick and very polite asked how my day was and made sure my food was okay. He then asked how my day was, how long I’ll be here for and how my trip was going, big thank you to ibrar for this💪
Special thanks to Murthy at check-in desk, for making our first anniversary celebration so memorable. Thank you to all staff as well who left us surprises in our room. Excellent property with modern amenities!
Walls were very thin , we kept hearing noises outside the room in the middle night. Twice we could hear loud music from another room and what could be the sound of escorts in and out. Unfortunately covid dampened the experience slightly. However, from a 5 star hotel we did expect a bit better.
