Chez Auguste gives the hotel a plot twist: French café-crêperie comfort in the middle of Luang Prabang. It’s there for pre-wander coffee, crêpes, and galettes between plans, or dinner when your step count has far exceeded your daily target. The pool bar handles the rest, which is mainly drinks, cooling off, and not moving very far.

Best for families with younger children or a baby who want a small, central hotel for exploring Luang Prabang, rather than a resort with kids’ clubs and lots of facilities. Rooms can take a baby cot, and some higher categories can add an extra bed, so it works well for compact family stays where the plan is temples, markets, pool breaks, and early nights.
