At Loisaba Star Beds, you get the unique opportunity to sleep under the African stars. In Samburu, Loisaba is actually named after the stars – Loi means Star and Saba means Seven, like the Seven Sisters. When you lie back in your four-poster bed, you’re looking directly up at this constellation. You’ll be hosted by the local Samburu people, whose culture is based around astrology. As a nomadic tribe, they traditionally used the stars to navigate, predict weather patterns and season changes.
